Fallout 4 is good, but there are few small holes within details about the story, it feels as if the Commonwealth provisional Government should have been mentioned more, plus a few more snippets of detail within why the prydwin was made, plus small details about the institute left unmentioned.

i'd also check to see if your monitor has a "Sound device" output listed, and disabling that if it's not going to be used or does not actually have speakers despite being listed there

Quick Question to the Community - I want to uninstall a creation club mod from my game, and I know that in order to do this, I have to uninstall Fallout 4 from my PS4 and re-install it & its DLCs. But if I do this, is this also gonna cause me to lose my characters that I have created thus far?

Cool - I'll see if I can move it now. So, and just for a bit of clarification: Once I move the save data to the extended drive, I then just un-install & re-install 4 and its DLCs. Afterwards, I would then only download the few creation club mods I actually want (I only have 4 I like), and once everything is all set & dandy, do I then move the data back to the main drive? And once it's back, is there any issue I might face now that the unneeded creation is uninstalled?

The 4 creation club mods in question are 3 skins (onyx for pip-boy and the BOS skins for armor & weapons) and the backpack

Yes, it's best to run the game at least once and install the creations you want, then move the saves back. The game will recognize the saves and you can continue where you left off. It might give a warning that it's missing some content the first time you load a save but if you don't have those items currently equipped it shouldn't be a problem.

Although the guns look pretty nice, they have a few problems that are hard to ignore IMO

#

For one, they use the exact same model animations and sound files that the combat rifle in the base game uses, which isn't especially great since the character holds the guns as they would a combat rifle, creating a "floating gun" glitch that just looks bad

#

And of course, the sound does not fit the gun at all - too "light" sounding for a rifle that looks like it should sound more like a hunting rifle

#

And since they use the same mechanisms as the combat rifle, both guns fire a lot faster than they should

#

The only thing that I like about the guns is that the carbine has a wicked looking socket style bayonet, which looks great for a Minutemen build

If the game itself is on the extended storage you can't move the saves there because they're already there. You'll probably need another storage device to backup the data

By that, it sucks that Bethesda stopped making stuff for it, or at the very least patch-updates to fix its issues

But as for me, I also put a good bit of blame on Fallout 76 - it took away the attention & the teams of devs that Fallout 4 had & still needed and for what? A bad game with one of the worst releases in the history of the video game industry? A game that, to this day, is still riddled with bugs & other issues that Bethesda seems to flounder about trying to absolve?

I love new vegas but the reason that new vegas was so, good is cuz og devs and did not have to make the engine it was already made which gave then all, that time to make the sweet sweet lore. Also fallout 76 was the multi-player for fallout 4. The you tube called. No clips got some.great docs on the history of Bethesda and fallout 76. It's got some great insight and tid bits like how starfield was in the making before the dlc for fallout 4 was done.

Does anyone have a fix for the "Neon Flats" creation bug, where it makes all the Automatron names reset and make you unable to rename any Automatron that you have used as a companion? reloading a save is only a temporary fix. Ive had this problem on both xbox and pc now.

Well got big achievements done tonight fixed my game so it has subs and dialogue but the battle for fallout to be debug free I’ll have to go threw my mods again and see witch one cause all power armor to be Russian and to see if items stop appearing to be Russian well goodnight to you all who read this may I wish luck on your journey threw out the wasteland and real life cheers.

The Enclave have been defeated twice so post-2277 they are not in a position to fight for world or state domination, unless they have another hidden base that we don't know about yet. Or if the game is a prequel like Fallout 76.

It only starts after you become banished from the Institute, retaking the Castle doesn't affect your standing with any factions

I've already tried that, but the color doesn't change to negative from the entire environment and, as I said, nothing is displayed in the action menu when I look at chests or crates or people

I even loaded the save from the very first few hours of gameplay and even then the problem persists

Bought the game recently and was already disappointed hours of gameplay wasted on something that just doesn't add up so much to Bethesda

I looked on the internet to see if there is anything I can do apparently there is no solution I think it's really bad because I invested so many hours of play and in the end it was all for nothing apparently there's nothing I can do about it and I won't start the game again If I had known that beforehand I would have made better use of the whole weeks and hours than wasting them on Bethesda

I can’t play FO4 at all these last couple days on my PS4. No mods just some of the creations. And I am skipping over the ones with known issues and yet, it’s completely unplayable. I can’t remove individual creations and have to redownload the game. Mustiple times Ive tried this. But now even with installing the creations I had on before that worked I still get the memory bug at the freaking menu. I’m so fed up.

I don’t even know why I came here. To vent I suppose. It’s not like Bethesda will do anything. They don’t care. Doesn’t matter that some of the creations I’ve paid for are unplayable no matter what. 0kb bug. Vault won’t open. Just utter BS.

Are you using the X-02 power armor creation? That one in particular can cause a bug with Vault 111 not opening

Fallout 4 still doesn't work properly for me would like to show you a screenshot of the problem but can't send pictures here I think it's a total shame because the game is just great and now I can do everything I've been playing for months no longer finish when will there be an update for it to at least run again

When you side with the minutemen, your focus is on taking settlements and improving their resources, essentially taking over the commonwealth. The quests are just the radiant quests, besides getting rid of whatever other faction you don’t like. Consider joining the other factions for unique content and quest rewards. You can side with institute and still be general of the minutemen, or you can destroy the institute and be at peace with the railroad and the brotherhood.

The Minutemen ending is the ending that you get if you lock yourself out of the other faction endings, so you always have a way to finish the game.

Hello! This is my first time posting, so let me know I should post this somewhere else or if I'm missing something, but I'm trying to platinum Fallout 4 and I can't seem to get the Animal Control trophy to pop (I'm on PS5). I have 1134 creatures killed, and just over 300 animals killed, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or why it's not working. Any help is appreciated!

@slender forge you need to install a mod that tells you where they got stuck.. I did that and it led me to them and they were in an Alley in Downtown Boston trying to hump a wall in their path! Weird

There's a terminal in the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC that lets you see where all your companions are, but it doesn't track Codsworth for some reason
