Every build I start off with is an idiot savant build so it can really do mostly everything. You can lean into its already higher luck stat and go for a per/luck/agi vats build

If you play it long enough you'll end up just boosting Int anyway, so you can get the most out of idiot savant early on

Tier 3 idiot savant is crazy good when you can boost your int to crazy heights after triggering it via building shelves then nuking a gunner cage pit

It’s most likely in reference to the Fallout Next Gen version. After playing in the game for more than like 3 hours textures start bugging out. Blown off limbs glow a neon pink/blue and the “innards” on the limbs are invisible. The skybox starts to look like multi color prisms and the game gets really choppy.

You have to save. Leave the game. Force close the application. Then load back in. Granted- that’s an Xbox thing.

That’s your issue. There’s a bug in the game that if you use Med-X whilst poisoned you can receive a permanent - perception

Find the perception bobblehead and it will cancel itself out. It’ll show that you still have - perception but it won’t matter

I think that the brotherhood has a huge flaw in it's leadership, one that's been in every game. They're too short sighted. F03, Lyons was a clown and didn't use the water to build capital, and Jumpstart a local economy. Laying the groundwork for actual development. F04's is slightly facistic, but sets itself to simply destroy what they don't understand.

You will find lots of power armor, up to you if you want to use it, depends on your build and playstyle.

As far as faction reputation, there isn't such a mechanic in this game,you can be a member of every faction and do quests for them, however, there are certain story choices that will effect your standing with the different factions, you're warned though.

Any weapon designated as such, the perks apply... For rifleman, it needs to have a rifle stock or have rifle in the name change when modifications are applied.

Overwriting saves may be a better option.

You have to remember when this game was released, they aren't really updating anymore.

I honestly haven't played the story in a long time, but some factions are outright rivals. You can interact and progress multiple, but at some point you'll need to pick what faction you want to allign with.

Minuteman outfit and trilby hat (for CHA) is a good combo for the weave.

Thanks guys. For good measure, while we are at it, what is the highest rated clothing that does NOT accept armor on top? The institute courser is up there. With ccc nior penthouse has a architect jacket that was higher than courser i think. I gave it to piper.

It is tedious. I was doing it with combat armor. Duplicate 22 helmets, then another round of chest armor and so on.
But then I'm finally like, "you know what? Ballistic weave courser is close enough to the rating of combat armor" lemme just make 22 of these courser armor and call it a day.

But now my settlements look like a cult 😆😆

Yeah I totally got that covered. I build vertically. My crops, power and water are off the ground

Agreed. I'm done repairing crops. All my settlements have greenhouses on the roof now. Water and electric are usually encased in concrete foundations to avoid splash damage but I think the get damaged anyway automatically due to game engine roll of dice.

I've seen some on YouTube but there's no way you can mass produce them without going insane

I build vertically in a brutalist architecture type of way. I usually have a thin base foundation and I surround that perimeter of the base foundation with missile turrets. Walls are pointless. Let them come far in. My turrets are there to greet them 😎

I also know all the enemy spawn points so I am mindful of that as well when I build and place turrets accordingly

What im trying to improve on now is also being mindful to include protection for trader caravan and even the brahmin, trying to get them indoors is a challenge and the settlers don't like the smell.

I wish vanilla game had large foundation ramps. Stairs and brahmin don't go together 😅

I hope in fallout 5, there is like a random spawn point for each attack. But i hope attacks can stay outside the walls or have walls actually be worth building.
