What’s the best armor for companion, I’m thinking army fatigues with ballistic weave, and whatever is lightest with deep pockets and hopefully strength legendary effects eventually. Would that give them the most carry weight? And am I right in assuming that is probably the most useful way to go? I’m on survival mode, so carry weight is always awesome… any advice on other options and does augmented strength legendary effects actually increase their carry weight or just the deep pockets. Curious if endurance stuff would increase their survivability.

I kinda don’t like playing a “bad” character, but I do want to try to get as many characters perks as possible. Also as many romances as possible to spread around my settlements. Sounds like I won’t be getting the institutes synth perk, because it would cut off all other endings. Seems random most times, but there are certain spots at certain settlements where they always seem to touch down, but if you try to build a landing pad, they won't land at that spot anymore.

It's limited, over the amount disappears, using an "unlimited resources shipment" mod that gives you 99999 or whatever number , and placing it in the workbench, you only get like 32000 of each resource, or maybe it was 65000 something, idr.

I just learned that on a melee builds. Taking rank 4 of big leagues, while it enables aoe in front of you. It also will hit neutral/friendly npc. It can hurt and down companions, unintentionally turn settlers or other friendly npcs hostile. It can even cause quests to fail, most notably the Silver Shroud quest.

I know you have to reach a pretty high level for them to appear, I think it’s around level 50. Then there’s really only three ways that I found to get a mkV coat. 1. The Battle of Bunker hill during the Institute quest line, 2. Siding with the Railroad in the endgame and find a checkpoint 3. Easiest one if you have Nuka World, find a raider boss and ask for a job, the dialogue you want is related to either finding goods or the team got ambushed and ask who’ll you’ll be facing, there’s a chance it’s railroad agents. If not, just leave and re-enter the building they’re in and try again.

Once per 3 or 4 days as per my playthrough

You only need 8 settlements including the castle for a MM run.
3 of which you automatically get throughout the questline and the other 5 can be aquired through normal quests, no radiant quests are needed.

All you need to do is manage them well. Be careful and you won't get bogged down by radiant quests

there are YouTube videos that show you how to avoid any radiant quest from the Minutemen after you complete the first settlement quest, which is usually terrine bluff/corvega factory. I followed the instructions successfully yesterday. After you turn in the turbine bluff quest and get some minutemen flares, to walk away from Preston and avoid talking to him from that point on . i never need to interact with presto garvey after the first settlement quest until the retaking of the fortress

I found the console commands that should be able to help me out. Disable and enable. Basically the hide of fallout's console commands. You can "Disable" the rendering of an object and make it practically nonexistent and "Enable" it's rendering and collision again later. Just need to know the codes and right format of how to do it. Shouldn't be hard though.

Also does anyone know what the white trailers are called in vault88 or can someone send me a link to the nukapedia page for that structure? Id like to use them for another settlement but don't know the name or code to look em up.

The vault tech terminal from dlc can add a quest that tracks companions.
Also, hire a different companion, and the current companion will return home.
Other than that, you just have to look at their default home, or try and recall what settlement you sent them to before.

I can explain how i did it

Im doing a quality build in fallout 4 so for first 30 levels i focused getting 9 special stats across the board

After that i just kind bought utility and made a rule where i could not buy any weapons based perks like rifleman, gunslinger etc. but i can pick magainzes

So i had like 5 grognak magiznes which is 20% based damge

Then i had full adrenaline which i think is super op

So 50%

I was then on whiskey and physchobuffet

So my strength was absolutely rediculas

I cant post screenshots here but i can on xbox

And for whatever reason fallout 4 registered that i had 1048 based damage

Littlerally crazy, after playing through the game (im now level 75) I found that they changed soo much stuff from based fallout 4

Anyways sorry wanted to gloat with other fallout 4 gurus

In fallout 4 when you first leave the vault I turn around and go left and kill the raiders down there for free exp plus the random encounter before going to sanctuary

I skipped the starting quest once by not going to sanctuary. I started at Red Rocket. Then got lost trying to get to diamond city. Its interesting because I stumbled onto Nick's quest. You get special dialogue for reaching him first iirc. 🤔 i checked my drive save. I havent played since early 2017.

You have to accept searching with him first, but you don't have to follow him, he is more than capable of killing the bloat flies.

I have to not follow him, my modded survival, at that early in the game, 1 hit from a bug kills me, I barely survive the roaches in the vault, bloat flies shooting poison at me is instant unavoidable death.

You don't need to accept it per say. Just don't outright say "nah, bugger off".
You can say 'idk what i should do' and he'll do it himself

Bruh I can't tell if it's because of my mods but the the CC quest "Speak of the Devil" is bugged for me.

I can't even attempt to power armor glitch my way through the metal gate.

I don't even have the options to put the AM and FM holotapes in there.

I don't even know which of my mods is causing the interference or if it's because of the next gen update that's messing it up.
