I preordered fallout 4 back 10 years ago and got the collectors with pip-boy and all DLCs and logged an infinity of hours on it consistently for the past 9 years. My favourite game ever and holds a very special place in my heart. I now moved countries, bought a ps5 and having left the disc at my parents house I downloaded the ps plus version to keep playing. It will be beyond disappointing if I cannot get this upgrade unless I pay again. I really hope that is not the case. I don't think there will be a ps5 version for ps plus users because it wouldn't come from the studio but from sony themselves unless the studio and sony agree to add it on the ps plus which is a shame because the game is better in ps5 version and making those who have it with the ps plus pay for it is just zero

Using the same console I had my save data on already, yes. There was a “Transfer Saves” button in the main menu. I’m not sure if you can do it across consoles. I assume you can if you have ps plus

Allow me to explain that we are still investigation this but so far Bethesda says that you must own the game to get the upgrade which might mean having the game on a subscription is not the same as buying the game.

Yes if your playing on one console or have your data saved to the ps plus cloud. Also I wouldn’t use mods until your on the ps5 version, they aren’t saving from my ps4 save 🙂

So i looked into it with my hardware and the game now has 3 factors for fps

4k fidelity: 4k resolution with ultra settings at 30fps

4k performance: base or mid settings at 60fps

1440p or below: ultra settings at 60fps no matter what
