It's actually not Shaun's DNA. He was the baseline they needed to get started, but it's not used in all synths anymore.

Cait is my romance on my main 4 toon, and I think they're an interesting pairing. He's a very good and caring person, and he doesn't seem like the type who would get along well with someone like Cait. But I think that deep down inside of her, she's a good person too. She just has a lot of trauma that has destroyed her world view and made her understandably self-concerned. And she has a great questline that shows this. She just needed someone to show her that some people do care.

We could spend an entire day talking about how bad Survival mode in fallout 4 is, even though it had a good idea. The save is what most makes this tedious and extremely annoying. Your only way to feel hungry and thirsty or sleep is by submitting to being able to lose minutes of progress because you died in some strange way. Instead I have a better idea, one where bethesda simply lets you tweak this mode to your liking

I only play Survival, diseases are a nice addition. But save only by sleeping? who wouldn't want to keep repeating half an hour of walking to die at the end because they couldn't find a bed, and having to do it all over again

Absolutely, but my criticism is on the part that this should have in the base game. See I have no problem with making a Hardcore mode I have a problem with making a hardcore mode and only in it you have basic and fun things like eating and drinking

I mostly love the disease system. Makes me have to wonder if it's worth staying thirsty until I get to the next town or drinking dirty water. Visiting doctors is extremely common for me due to addictions and radiation, and having to choose my equipment before going out is something I enjoy

The disease system does make it more fun as it adds an extra level of challenge, plus survival mode makes the game feel like it's a horror game. I'm so scared I'll turn a corner and boom, you're dead, so I am constantly sneaking and using V.A.T.S.

I feel that in Survival you end up enjoying the game better Do you know the recipe for Grape Mentats? Whiskey, turf and mentats. This increases your charisma by 5 and prices at merchants are lower. Hunting deer and cooking them is good for when fetching resources, because their meat increases carrying capacity I don't think I would ever care about it if I wasn't constantly buying stuff

@pure sigil @zinc ridge okay so I take full responsibility lol. I was in survival mode. That's why I was unable to get it to work. Clever work around though. I put the game into very hard, which allowed me to use console commands. Fixed my bugged emogene Cabot mission, use console commands to re-enable survival. Badda-bing badda-boom, fixed my mission, still can play survival, and still have access to achievements ( don't care much about the achievements, just wanted to mention cuz I know some do). Thanks for the reply and helps people. The community is always so much more help then any support ticket. At least in my experience all I'm saying. Take care.

Stick to only using a few connected settlements, a water purifier farm, a food/ingredient farm for food and chem/antibiotics/adhesive crafting,soups are best,takes care of thirst and hunger ... Hangman's alley main home because central location plus diamond city vendors, graygarden for food, build stores/clinic up on overpass, Oberland water farm,this way the settlements are close to eachother,easier to defend... And robots are the best companions, heavily armed body guard and pack mule,if built a certain way, can have like 600 carry weight, and robot repair things are easy to craft saving on stimpacks.

The 0KB bug is an eronious error message on Ps4 commonly believed to be caused by CC skins. In reality it can be caused by a combination of CC content. Skins can be fine on their own and then adding another piece of content can cause the skins to not be recognised in your Ps4 version of FO4 native assets. The assets then go beyond the save fetch file size expected by the Ps4 system. The error message tells you there is not enough space in the storage system and you must free up more space to continue using the application.

So, I'm getting a crash bug that won't even let me select a new game. The Special movie plays, that's fine, then it gets to the menu screen with the slowly panning view of the Red Rocket Power Armor. that stutters at about 2 frames per second for 5 seconds then it dumps me back to the desktop. The mouse cursor doesn't appear in the game window, but does on the second monitor to my left. Anyone know how to fix this?

Because CVRIE can be outfitted with ridiculous weapons in Automatron and has such massive health that other companions don't even match her until I think it was LV103. Combine that with being a Essential Automatron, so the Unstable equipment actually fully restores after combat.

Howdy folks, this is a bit long, but really a game breaking issue right now.
I use Vortex for my Mods and wanted to try out the Phase 4 Institute mod, it expands the Institute architecture and some technology stuff. Well, after adding it and a modest amount of other mods, I soon discovered that no settles were showing up to my settlements, companions weren’t following me through fast travels or doors to instances and fast traveling would just hang on the loading screen for at least 10 mins until I got sick of waiting and just ALT+F4ed it.

After removing some mods as well as the Phase 4 one, at least I am being followed through doors and stuff now, but the other issues still remain. My other Vortex profiles all work fine, but this one is pissing me off.

So, why & how would this mod selection break these things and is it possible to some how trace and/or fix it? Or should I just start a new profile and start loading a few mods at a time to see when it breaks?
Also, could this be inherited into my Saved Games? Is it possible to fix them if this is the case?

Probably an unpopular opinion, but
I feel like the whole brotherhood airship entrance should have been the main introduction to the BOS in the game, and not the Cambridge police station. Had they removed Fire Support and Call To Arms, the shock factor of the BOS entering the commonwealth would have been 10x better and the players would be more shocked.

I'm of the opinion that the mod limit (the plugin count) should stay the same as it is. Only the storage should be changed and user customizable, even. Possibly even to go as absurd as something like 128GB storage or something like that. Maybe also allow for additional archive 'slots' for a mod to make Beth.net uploads and downloads less of a pain (or increase the limit there as well, though for my purposes this would only apply to the console releases)

@void stirrup sometimes you will find a cardboard box or waste basket (just an example) bouncing around all by themselves, causing the racket you may have heard. The bodies moving, all that kind of stuff is due to havok physics. Interactable 3d items all have this kind of collision physics to make the game more real, you can see it for instance by walking close to a dropped weapon and you end up kicking it a short distance away,whereas non-interactable items wouldn't move and instead block you or if small you would walk over.

So why is everybody so gung-hole about the next gen update I mean what's the big deal. It should be a huge breakthrough especially fixing downtown Boston I know this is going to break a lot of PC mods but if the Skyrim Community can get over it so can fallout 4.

I for one had a bad experience with FO4 on PC and because I already bought it I would like to play it all the way through. I'm looking forward to bug fixes and hopefully a fix for the extra long load times when transitioning between inside and out. Sometimes when I went back outside it took a minute and a half to get there. Other times I waited the minute and a half and then 5 minutes later nothing changed so I had exit and load back into my last save game.

Later on I contacted support and after making it to tier-3 support I was told to look to 'The Community', which I did and I found a Mod that fixed that transition issue. I didn't realize that also took away the ability to earn achievements. When I played for a month without realizing I couldn't get any more achievements I kind of rage quit and never went back...

But yeah it is a big deal especially for console players because you cannot play or even beat the game without going through downtown Boston on vanilla that's 80% of the game right there that needs to be fixed and but that's finally bug fixing that. They finally fixed Skyrim and it hardly crashes anymore unlike how it was back on the 360. It might be a few hiccups here and there but I don't have the fear of quick-saving every 5 Seconds like Fallout 4

I mean if PC dont want the update than they dont have to download it but this change is mainly supporting console players to be honest. I'm sorry PC has to fix their mods but ever since the CC update going into the series XS, fallout 4 has became unplayable by 80% of the game. I welcome the change not just because I'm a console player but because fallout 4 needs this desperately to keep up with the frame rate and load times. Actually with cc with all of the game changing cc stuff on it with no mods at all on my PS5 its basically unplayable and wasted money on it because I actually enjoyed creation club content on my PS4/5. (Since the mods are kind of lame on playstation) I had too many cc mini dlcs on and it made my game unplayable and cant turn on unless if I redownload the game and that's not fun 🥲 I rebuy it all on PC and its basically 45% playable, sometimes I have to use console commands to fix it but its eh, idk how to use 3rd party mods yet

There's no unique loot obtained by doing the robots missions, they are just for obtaining the combination codes for the mine entrance key. They will give you the combinations still if you bypass their tasks with the speech checks.

Does anyone have a fix for the Hangman's Alley quick travel mat glitch? I can't seem to find one that works. For those that don't know the glitch I will explain. No matter where you place the quick travel mat your spawn point from quick travel is always outside the back entrance. Besides being annoying it is a pain in the butt when you are rushing in to defend the place and spawn right in the middle of the attacking group.
