Yeah, I am just happy to get it to a point where i dont have to work on it. I have a decent couple of updates I need to put out for my free stuff which I haven't been able to get to since all my modding time has been spent on Settled Systems Outfitted for the past month.
I’m guessing that there’s gonna be more stuff than in the images above right?
Yes there is just over 200 outfits, every new mesh outfit is visible in the image above, some are partially hidden. Plus there are some cool retextures to base game outfits which arent present as well. Not to mention the different colours and variants to the new outfits I wasn't able to fit in the display image.

Does anyone know of an alternative to one of a kind ships with a hope bay like this that has a door at the back (instead of the top which is how the vanilla version is). I've been using this one, but it screws with how the ship spawns on the lander and makes it off center

I actually deleted all of my saves + my PS5 saved data for the game
But anytime I start a new game using SKKs fast start mod it doesn't let me save
We just pushed updates that corrected a few things now. Should be good to go! Reach out to me for any bugs (I’m the current patch dev in the meantime).
Additional fixes will go out as I work on stabilizing things to both nexus and Console. And thanks to ZeeOgre for supporting the console release!

How do you get a creation to become Achievement Friendly?
How do you guys catagorize your LO for console? What do you leave closer to the top or bottom?
Load order priority is lower
So you have say three lighting mods the bottom most one is priority
Bethesda stuff at top, overhauls, perks and player looks, locational changes, NPCs both friendly and hostile, cheats, new gear, outpost, ship parts, patches for all things, lighting and weather and finally what says bottom
(Just an example. Might not work for you)
Ahh kk, my load orders for skyrim, starfield & fallout 4 usually follow this pattern: Hud, lighting/graphic/weather stuff, settlement/outpost & ship objects (starfield & fo4), Weapons, Armor, NPC changes & additions (npc looks, behavior & follower mods) & “whatever works at the bottom”
I dont usually run into problems but after downloading some newer mods (falkland, avontech & some weapon mods) & going through the unity (which im told is basically a new game start) ive been running into quite a bit “failed to save” issues on ps5

yep.. sorry.. i was missing a file in the last update.. new one up very soon (as soon as CK finishes uploading ~5-10 minutes tops
when i repacked with the file, i had ck open, so it just pushed the old archive instead of the new one :S

ck will put a file lock on the archives when you're uploading them.. so you can modify the archives through ck still, but you have to completely exit ck to have the external tool i made work on the archives

I noticed that when you have a bunch of legendary effects on armor pieces the game, freezes for a few seconds when you change armor pieces, does anyone know of a mod that can reduce this delay?

Hi all, just want to confirm. If we're making Main_xbox.ba2 and Textures_xbox.ba2 archive files to work for xbox. Do we need to make them into Main_ps5.ba2 and Textures_ps5.ba2 for PS5 archives?
It's ps.ba2, and you want PC textures not Xbox textures.

working correctly with the few caveats -- precise placement doesn't work, formid's disabled on item cards right now, and copy/paste colors in shipbuilder never got a console assignment, so no keybind for it... those are "next version" issues 🙂

I use "Dark Universe: Overtime" and "Dark Universe: Retrograde" (both by kaos_nyrb) on all my playthroughs now, and they're quite good. I also use "Catalyst - Dynamic Missions" (by Gothos25) and they all play well together. I can't speak for the other Dark Universe mods as I haven't tried them yet.
Anyone know how to make an edit to Shades Immersive Looting where the bodysuit options are there, but can be removed after a second use of the button?

how is starvival compared to the baked in in games settings. im looking for immersion mods to add to my ng+ playthrough
Its probably better to just use the menus for that, other than difficulty sliders for combat, there's some mods that make combat more difficult and rewarding since they make gunplay damage more realistic rather than turn enemies into bullet sponges
Really been enjoying Starfield on the PS5, particularly the armor mod from tank girl that lets me be a Spartan in space, here’s some screen shots either the current armor I’ve got going on along with the laredo lever action by bub200! Some of the best mods I’ve played with since Fallout 4! 🙂
It is very very much a mod you have to micromanage settings with, I downloaded it for its ship fuel mechanic but it wasn;t fully fleshed out in my opinion, their o2 mechanic was ok, but the base game gameplay settings has worked for me pretty well, on this playthrough I am playing with enemy dameg extreme, player damage easy. Its similar to fallout 4's survival mod in that enemies take a few hits to die, and the player takes a similar amount of damage. I then downloaded Sinderions real fuel mod as well as his O2 mod which I forgot the name of and its feeling like a well balanced survival mode. My biggest gripe with Starvival was that with its ship fuel mechanic it was possible to get stranded with no hope of finding ship fuel and requiring a reload to a previous save, With RealFuel, you will get stranded but there is always a way to scrounge up some fuel so you dont end up going back a save whenever you run out of fuel.

Yeah I've moved it around my load order a few times now. It's only firing off one side of the engines when landing instead of both again
Just noticed that I packed the unpatched NIF file on the last version of the mod - never noticed because the patched version is sitting loose in my Starfield tree.

Do outpost mission board mods sometimes glitch with trillions of cred rewards?
I've seen that with Outpost Mission Boards Enhanced mod, once you hit level 215.

And I have setup my UC SysDef mission board at my Mercury Tower apartment and in my ship, and I see these rewards glitching out
If you turn off the feature that increases credit rewards it may resolve itself.

Load order is non lethal frameqork, useful brigs, Stroud premium edition, spe and useful brigs patch, ngl useful brigs patch.
BGS added some new Stroud parts. So they may have changed something needed in that patch by Vince. or modified. I forget which without searching

I've been desperately wanting to get back into modded Starfield and simply don't have the knowhow to decipher a log and figure out what specifically is causing my game to crash (if that's even possible), and would like some help. its definitely a mod of some sort that only activated since TA and freelanse was released
so i used a console command and clicked on the image when it appeared again in the new freelane habs with stairs, and saw that ID number. now to try and figure out which mod added this....
I don't know how commands work specifically for starfield, but pulling from an older reddit post they looked something like this

For the second script the first two numbers should show the load order
HAHAHAHA thats some real ai slop, go to MO2 -> Data button on the right hand side, make sure Archive Parsing is turned on in settings under Workarounds and then it SHOULD be a file called tbscreens01_color.dds

To be fair a neon mod came out recently that replaced all the ads in the city with ai slop, there's terrabrew ads there so this could be one of them

It also replaced the signs for the NA medical center for me, instead of the logo branding there's just a pin up on the sign now 😭
There's other mods that replace the ai art with ingame ads again for that mod

I've been away for a while - has anyone solved the problem of creating working outposts anywhere, for console (Xbox/PS)?
I know there are workarounds for PC involving using the console command setoutpostoverlay (which isn't accessible on consoles), but has anyone solved it for consoles? I'm also aware of the Build & Decorate Anywhere mod (since I made it).
I've been tinkering a bit and want to make sure I'm not wasting my time 🙂
Nice yeah the Settled Systems outfitted mod, (which if you didnt know will be a verified creation) is similar, but also different from my other outfitted mods, It moreso adds stuff to vendors and leveled loot lists. It does outfit a couple npc's such as LIST settlers and colonists as well as the Shaw Gang. But the outfits are mainly meant for your character and crew. Also I have a lot of new meshes which you could probably see in the images, so it is a bit more premium then something like Crimson Fleet outfitted which is mainly retextures.

Not really if I am being honest I am extremely burnt out from making outfit mods, so my next planned release is a location mod, which I haven't started work on yet. Outfits made using blender take a decent couple of passes to get right, and an equal amount of time stress testing. I do have an some outfits planned for the location mod, one of them being freestar themed but I am probably putting outfits on the backburner after this one.
I was also planning a new spacesuit mod but I will likely do that one after my location mod considering how many banger space suits the devs added in the Free lanes update + Terran armada & the Trackers Series.
Oh fair enough I'm curious about this location now given youve experimented a little with new locations and cells now

Yes sir, olive and tan coloured crew uniforms (Basically the same uniforms as seen in Ecliptic outfitted in Olive and Tan) My personal favorite is the tan uniform with straps. I don't have any pictures of the olive one at the moment.

I used the mod Disguises and flamethrower. Wish I took screenshots of the nostromo though. I impressed myself
(all on ps5 too) I originally started as Hicks but It didn't fit since the Dripfield mod didn't really have that CM look
I tried playing as Hudson, but it made my game crash, because game over, man, game over!

Stroud premium edition, useful brigs, non lethal framework, patch SPE x useful brigs, useful brigs send to brig no combat check esm, nlf useful brigs patch, and lastly shades immersive looting. PC creations versions.

I did Nova Galactic yesterday on my new playthrough with no issue from Ecliptic outfitted. Were you one xbox or PC cause I do way more testing on Xbox since my PC is at minimm required specs to run the game.

I find that if you delete and reinstall the mod it boots it from the update tab

I mean delete then reinstall without loading the game in between, it should work the same as updating.

Have you checked the terminal in the brig ? to see how many beds you have ? that's the only thing the SPE patch does, adding brigs beds to the SPE brig. The send to brig option is not managed and/or changed by SPE. (additionnaly, I have the same LO and didn't have any issue the last time I used it (was a while ago tho))

Question about your outpost any where mod. I am trying to place a landing carpet (Mills Builds) on top of POI pad, and that works, but can`t figure out how to make my ship land on it. What do I need to do to make it show as an outpost? Or does the mod not work like that?

I didn't make an Outpost Anywhere mod (yet); I made a Build Anywhere mod. It just lets you build objects, not a functional outpost and/or landing pad.

Spoke with the author, it seems the posters were from another mod of his on nexus and he accidentally updated them into the nexus version of tiger Shipyards and that went into the creations version
That happened to me once, I accidentally put in another author's sound mod i was using for reference of how they did certain loop points into a mod I uploaded

Hey just wanted to share I found the issue. Non lethal framework had an update that required deleting the mod, creating a manual save file without the mod, then redownloading. Sorry to bug you again but thought you should know in case anyone else comes to you like I did.
Anyone have this happen before? I figured it was ELFX but it happens on a clean save w/o it too. Usually when docking with a station. Vanilla bug?

Yeah, I wish I could help more, but its probably a mod conflict, If it is an issue I will run into it in my current playthrough. When I am updating I'll take a look and make sure nothing is messed up, but it looks like the meshes are missing.

guys does anyone have some insight into using a trigger volume to turn on lights within a cell? Ive got working light switches throughout the cell but ive got one area that i would like the lights to turn on when the player enters the room. I have tried multiple different volume types and scrips but it doesnt seem to work. anyone know if theres a tutorial out there if if anyone knows how to build it? I would assume its not a complex script but it doesnt work and I dont know why
I'm late to the party with playing the new update and updating my mods. I just got everything updated and running fine, but I have one strange issue. The icons for cities on the planet maps are gone. All other icons are fine. I'm going to start troubleshooting but figured I'd ask to see if someone's familiar with this issue and can save me some headache?
That can happen with older mods that added things to cities and didn't include SFBGS008 as a dependency.

Hmm, I activated that mod and put at the bottom of my load order, but the game crashed. Also for clarification, my issue isn't with the surface map, it's the planet map
i just started starfield with the new update and found my inventory to be completely broken. i used starUI stuff, i already tried to disable and uninstall all mods (everything) re verified files on steam and check data and myGames folder manually and i found nothing about old mods.
once i open the inventory is impossible to close and all the fonts are strange...
if i install starui back everything is "fine" other than the starui bug obv...
Ah, were you using one of the mods (I forget its name) that allowed the animated landing sequence to play when you landed somewhere? One of those disables the city icons and replaces them with its own, so if you had and removed that mod, those icons will be gone.
If you're on PC you can re-enable them with console commands, I'm not sure if the author ever made an "uninstall" but if this applies to you it would be worth checking.
this is now base game functionality with a gameplay option, so a lot of people removing those mods

Neo's will probably be safe to remove any time, mine is probably OK but I'd recommend just disabling it in gameplay options until NG+. But some of those older ones did things like the above.

I'm not sure who made the one I had because it seems to have been removed from the Nexus. There were four files, called "mt_landings..."
a ba2 and a esm, one pair of files for the vanilla game and another pair of files for Dazra

Anyone here can point me in the right direction? I’m looking to add another activation option to a container but I’m not familiar enough with SF’s CK yet. I know it’s possible, since Real Fuel adds the fuelling option to the cargo hold (which is basically a container).

Am currently bumbling around in the CK after a two yr hiatus (and to be blunt, my bumbling around then was even worse). I've got a mod that bundles up a bunch of objects - mostly packins - to make them available in the ship customization, but I found that one or more of the objects was causing the game to crash. I initially thought it might be my packins using objects like forks, but when I revisited it I saw I'd set the whole thing to a static instance (so...not that?). I also have some regular clutter like building ship pouches, containers, and nearly the entire available consolekit packin inventory in regular and black.
I guess the question is "what might I be overlooking?" Is it possible to spawn an object that might decide to get garbage-collected (along with the game engine)? Maybe something with keywords (e.g. if I should be curating those better and removing if not needed)? I had noted a couple nexus mods that have gone stale with users reporting crashes, so I worry its not exclusively a "me" problem. Thoughts?
Also is there anywhere that has even a modest amount of (written) documentation/howtos/etc? TBH, not keen on youtube vids because they're a pain to (re)reference while working on stuff. I get that not a lot of people build/post howtos on public sites anymore as these are scraped up by the 'bots.

- Close game, load save without going to Creations, see if issue persists. Sometimes you have to close and reopen the game after each new mod.
- If that doesn't fix it, and you're on console, clear the cache. For Xbox, this means power down, disconnect power cable, hold power button fro 30 seconds, release power button, reconnect power cable, launch console and game.
- If that doesn't fix it, disable all your mods temporarily via the load order menu, exit the Creations menu, then close the game and reopen it. If that fixes it, re-enable half, test again, etc. until you find the culprit(s).

Hey I just Ran into an issue I dont understand, So I was playing Starfield and when doing Failure to Communicate Alban Lopez would not talk to me to initialize the quest, I trouble shooted a bit and found that if I uninstalled Watchtower, the quest worked just fine. Small update on Nanoweave; The biggest blocker I had was it not updating for the inventory3D menu however I found a solution. Should be plain sailing from here on out!

Hello Everyone! I am playing a modded new game after the latest Update. Got a problem in the quest ”Into the unknown”, at the stage of going to the temple! It just says ”go to …”. I’m on console and looking for ideas to fix this bug. Would the mod ”scroll of quest fixing” work for this? Ping @sly ocean
That quest has coverage by the mod:
- "Into the Unknown": Use stage 10 to start the quest; stage 220 to skip to objective "Talk to Vladimir" [pre-temple]; stage 300 to skip to objective "Go to [X]"; stage 600 to skip to objective "Return to the Lodge"; stage 720 to skip to objective "Talk to Vladimir" [post-temple]; stage 1000 to complete the quest.
The mod includes not only the scrolls themselves but also an in-game book with a list of stages included.
So I’m at that stage where I have spoken to vladimir and he sends me to ”…” which scroll would work for that one?
Stage 600 should get you back on track. You'll miss the temple, but that's likely unavoidable at this point.
Perhaps I could counter the lack of temple/getting the first starborn ability by using the cheat terminal! And just giving myself the correct power?

I believe I tried your mod on an earlier playtrough tbh. I had some problem with the vanguard quest line where after doing the devil something quest, it didn’t start up the next quest. Diplomatic immunity or whatever it’s called
But didn’t see a scroll for that quest

Also where do I place the mod in an LO? Low is my first thought?
Shouldn't matter, but lower means it trumps anything else that may overwrite the box in the Lodge or anything like that.

Oh yeah sorry I meant Eyewitness! When I last tried the Vanguard quest it ends after delivering devils! Eyewitness won’t start and Hadrian is just standing still in Cydonia and won’t go to MAST

Hmm, I can add Eyewitness, but often when one quest completes but the subsequent quest doesn't start, there's a failed starting condition (failed alias fill, etc.) and forcing the quest to start may not resolve it.
Still, I can add a few stages for that quest, and we can see if that helps you.
First, let me know if you encounter the issue again (so we have a test case lined up).
I actually had to Hex Edit the master and change a 01 to a 00. Then rename it as an .esp. Following that, I was able to set it as the active file in CK. Then, I converted to a small.
Works wonderfully now. But man, what a hassle.

Man, I got used to leaving materials unpacked in the game directory for using with the CK, but the game has reverted to what it used to do some time back, and leaving loose materials there now results in the game messing up

My thinking was lasers could be infinite making them useful because tied to reactor itself

Ballistic gets bullets
Mebe having a sort of system to take ammo from a boarded ship and ship services

Yeah, that's more or less what I had planned as far as each weapon's requirements. But the fun part is actually making those resources get consumed as you use weapons, rebalancing power consumption and fire rate around the new ammo systems, etc.

Textures just aren't loading in correctly, it's at the bottom so it's priority...but I saw others are having the same issue as well..

Is it a glitch with Bethnet? Now I can't use it anymore. Hope that doesn't cause any serious issues.
I get this too sometimes. Completely quit the game, then reopen and load back in. Can also try opening the creations menu and making a minor edit to your LO to force Creations to recheck before you load in.
I've done all of that unfortunately 🫠 I even hard reset my PS5 to clear my cache
I uninstalled Starfield and are currently installing it again so I can reset the RAM
Okay I know it's a Bethnet glitch now. I quit the game and reloaded and I was able to enable it properly. For anyone who has an odd "this creation requires a dependency you don't have enabled" message pop up, and there is no "required creation" on Bethnet's site, this is how you fix it.
I spoke too soon. Apparently despite enabling it and seeing the pop up that the load order was altered, it hadn't really. Okay...
Except it DOES? Weird glitch, maybe the .esp was renamed.

Hey Zone, just wanted to report a persistent texture issue with the Crowd/Spacer Overhauls on PS5. Even with a full game reinstall,
no other conflicting mods, and Eit Clothiers Plus (ZBB) at the absolute bottom of the load order, NPCs are still showing 'rainbow' pixels and black masses.
It seems like a VRAM/caching issue on the console side, but even manual cache clearing isn't stabilizing it.
Just wanted to put it on your radar for the next update in case the PS5 textures need a compression tweak or a standalone patch.

I had twice experienced where various clothing were transparent. The only fix for me was to exit Starfield and log back in. It is caused by the colors needed in a BA2 file can not be found. So you can get floating heads walking along, etc. This only happened after the update for me. Also early on back in SEP 2023 we had a lot of photos of it happening.

Yes, BUT it would be kind of problematic. Because any book that's meant to fire a script when picked up wouldn't. And because it would need the default activation overridden, anything that uses that would also fail to fire. With Read Books it's not a problem as the book is still there in the world, if something doesn't work it can still be picked up.

You'll need to replace the default activation as otherwise you can't avoid the book opening, so you'll need to recreate the "take" vs "steal" for normally taking and reading. You're more than welcome to look at what I did for the conditions.

I think I figured it out in the meantime but: what do you think happens if I switch from a combat ai overhaul to another on an existing playthrough? I tried that when abandoning el jefe for your mod and the enemies were extremely passive and dumb lol. I started a new game and now I am experiencing some smart npcs!
That’s kind of a hard question to answer, as well your experience can vary. The game from time to time updates the brain of the NPCs in a few ways, but it is not very frequent. Sometimes when changes are made to the NPC it doesn’t happen until the next time the game updates the NPC. (Sometimes this can even include a group like basic spacer bad guys). If the mods you’re switching touched enough of the brain before it updates it isn’t very smart!
Then you also run into well sometimes removing mods from your save just doesn’t work right because that’s how modding goes lol.

Curiosity is the causation of most of my mods lol! The easy hard damage trick is a good one! Especially since you can change it during your playthrough. (I like to do very easy very hard in the first couple levels, then go to easy hard once the levels start getting higher.)

Are you guys here having issues with DLC items in the CK having their textures borked? It doesn't seem to affect anything in game, but in the CK, it's all purpled up and any fixes I manage seem to only be temporary
if you add the DLC archive files to sResourceIndexFileList in your CreationKit ini, that should solve it

MO2's philosophy is to keep the Data folder clean, therefore any file that gets put into the data folder (or a subfolder threof) by an application run through MO2 will be put into the Override folder instead

Hey guys, I installed the non-lethal framework and brig mod. But question is, do I need to make sure I don’t carried any contraband onboard my ship when imprisoning criminals in the brig hab? Because I have captured a Va’ruun Zealot rank, and some of them can carry an illegal contraband in their inventory, which is outlawed under UC and Freestar jurisdictions.

I've always been a firm believer that mods should never disable achievements in a single player title where the only person affected by cheating is the person that has elected to do it
If a mod or creation makes something easier for gaining an achievement, then I agree they should be disabled. But, if they don't change it at all, it makes sense that you should still be able to earn them.
I don’t think anyone cares enough to go on someone’s profile to see what Achievements/Trophies they collected for a video game. Coins will have some value at the end of the day based on rarity/edition.
I don't think it's about what others are looking at, more so personal achievement.
They also have value in the Microsoft Rewards program so that's one reason people pursue them.

Well, with how the system currently operates, that is what they are more or less forced to do. But some do still let trophies and achievements be enabled, so I can understand where some frustration might come from if a mod that is cosmetic disables achievements.
I've modded and used console commands in other Bethesda games and it disables achievements, but by that point it doesn't much matter to me. I generally play all the way through the games before I start messing with them. I've never been an "achievement hunter" but I still like earning them, even if its passively.
And it’s a personal choice for them to download it. That’s why there’s a warning message that appears that makes it very clear that downloading mods may disable Achievements/Trophies. And I think that’s where my frustration comes from on not understanding where their frustration comes from. They get fair warning that with some mods, their Achievements/Trophies will be disabled, yet they still complain and act foolish “Wait….I downloaded all these mods, but why can’t I have my Achievements/Trophies???”

While testing something I just found a really silly way to get out of a confrontation with the guards when stealing if you have my Incapacificator (or possibly if you're just really quick). I got spotted stealing and the guards were called, I knocked them both out. I then dropped what I'd stolen, picked it back up and got caught stealing it again by the owner, who took it back. I then pickpocketed it from them. When the guards came around, they didn't try to arrest me and just left 
I guess either the second theft or the sucessful pickpocket reset the alert.

What does the apex terramorph do? And does it cost any creation creds?
Apex gives more fear into the Terrormorphs by allowing you to adjust their powers and their health. I don’t think it’s free, though I think I remember having to purchase it.

My armor pack in particular, is a small master file, which means it doesn't impact much, despite adding 7 suits it only has an installation size of 282.44 MB which is bonkers for what it offers. Overall all my mod does is add completely independent suits that are located at their own workbench; none of the base game is touched or edited in anyway. So, I assume it's fine.
I didn't add the new legendary upgrades to the suits yet, but they honestly dont need them since I added my own legendary upgrade system to it prior XD

Is there a way to get the player’s equipped space suit pieces via Papyrus? There’s a native function for equipped weapons but I don’t find anything regarding armor
Cheers. If you mean weird pixelated textures, this seems to be an ongoing issue on PS5 with all mods that change or add new textures. Deleting and redownloading mod usually fixes it

Yeah, it's basically what I'd consider a texture map fail and the usual multicoloured mesh things will do if it doesn't default to a flat colour for the base model

Not necessarily a ship mod, but they add a lot to that sort of playthrough- Crimson Fleet Ranks, Plunder and Lambent: Street Rat Services just to name a few. These are permanent fixtures in my Crimson Fleet load order. Plus the Lambent custom ships have a lived in Neon vibe that works. Otherwise Eli's Crimson- What Fen said. Lol.
(if you don't like having trash piles/ debris around, Elianora has a patch to remove the trash piles, and I have one that goes a step further and removes the static papers/cups/towels/etc)
I also would like to honorably mention and also a permanent in my CF LO, Shadow of the Past as it adds to the Crimson Fleet playthrough directly.

Yep; you should see "Update" as an option for the mod in Creations.
If for whatever reason that doesn't show up as an option, just delete and redownload (that's a general rule, not just for this mod).

I wonder why Bethesda used static shutters in the new elevated cabin instead of the animated ones? They even fit quite well in the space I think. If you're building a cabin to take advantage of the view, it seems silly to obscure it with blinds you can't move.

If you guys are siding with UC SysDef or the Crimson Fleet, and have this Outpost Mission Board enhance active, be sure you turn off the reward multiplier or disable the mod before doing Legacy’s End. As it can cause an issue such as reward glitches and missions not showing.
OK now I'm second guessing myself, which is the "right" way around for these blinds? Should they be sloping towards us, like in the picture on the left, or sloping away from us, like the one on the right with the computer?
The static ones are flat, so no slope to match.
And if you can’t get that fixed later after the questline, your only solution is starting a new game or enter NG+

QA is completely swamped with ps5 mod updates. there are new creations submitted in queue waiting for approval but they're trapped in QA because of it
You'd think they'd post them to ps5 as and when instead of holding off to Tuesday and quite literally ignoring Xbox and PC
Especially after a month
they want the new PS5 players to have a reason to purchase creation credits.
The issue is there are so many paid mods still not ported to ps5 yet, and QA approves a tiny 20 batch each week.
It could take multiple more months to complete. It's unfortunate for VC's who have new stuff in queue who have waited for months already, and will have to wait longer now. I wish QA could balance it so ps5 is not exclusive priority and they can allow some new creations in too.

if Bethesda QA continues their priority for exclusively ps5 port updates
it will take them months to get thru at least 400* of the paid mods available.
*400 is a number taken from 2025, not counting AF duplicates of freebies. the number is probably higher now.
meaning we would not see any new paid mods pass QA until Sept/Oct at the earliest with the current rate of approval.
It's why I'm hoping that something changes soon with the QA situation

Did anyone have a mod update today that absolutely TANKED performance in space in the ships? I mean like from 180 FPS to 20 fps with constant stuttering, freezing, controller stop responding for a few seconds?
That is a mod overwrite issue for sure. I have not - today.
Although saves can get corrupted.
It is only in ships. especially happens when I use the boost and go invis.
It might be the engine fixes mod. Everything else was only armor and such.
I need to roll it back and see if that helps.
If not helping - test by disabling it in the Load order - exit SF - Log back in and see if the issue is still there. If gone you have your answer. and it will ask to reinstall that mod - do not reinstall - just go in to SF.
Todays updates were Atmospheric Audio, Legendary Recycler, Rabbits Real Lights New Atlantis, Starborn Spacesuit Visor, TN Modular Starborn suits, the STAR UI compatibility patches, and SFSE Engine Fixes.
I stopped using Starborn Spacesuit Visor mod. It was not working for Me. Its hard to say which of them are causing your issue - but it is one of them most likely.

Does anyone know if it's possible to bypass or disable the hardcoded dlc/creation load order rules that force some .esms to the bottom?
I've just worked out that the naming rules system was kinda half broken or overtaken by the trackers alliance creation's mantis bounty files (sfta03.esm + blueprintships-sfta03.esm), and so I'm trying to get some ideas on how one might fix it as I can't lower any mods below the blueprintships-sfta03.esm to see if that would override it.
I've let mod authors know in comments and reported the issue with the creation, but I don't even know if it can be patched with mods or if it would require the creation to be updated by bethesda to not break the system for other modders.
I'm not a sf mod author myself, but I'd appreciate any input on the issue if possible.
This is discussed on Mod Organizer 2 Discord. Those programmers say no. on those files. Creations will adjust those files in the background (before you get into the menu) and will probably complain if they are not found (maybe Crash) in the order it wants them. You should consider those files you cite as Primary Needed Starfield files. You can add others though. If for some reason a mod handler (Vortex or MO2, example/or a mod) move those files say during the game - SF will crash as it can not find them.
Blueprint files are by design handled to always load last

The DarkStar situation on that one is kind of a mess, but we will be doing something about it at some point, we made a promise to Hijak to try to carry his mods on after his passing.
Might involve re-porting the weapon entirely, so there's a single port for all platforms.
