I think the one I may have an issue with is at hells gate. I know they made a patch for dsm. Currently trying to find the platform with all the crafting to look through it. But I didnt see a patch for that one if it's even needed

I was generous and made the base planting plants practically free to craft
Just make sure those sprouts are facing up don't @ me when your trees are upside down

Tho it's spotting with how this game behaves some folks will see their animals never staying in the aquariums but it's fine cause they'll roam around your outpost and ships just fine
If nothing else, they make for good decorations

I probably won't do either. The one feature isn't feasible with the set up and the quest was just meant to be a nice little addition to tie in the other features. Unlike before where the point was to wonder the underwater facility the station is just a stop and go.

For me personally I like having to manually drop the plants where I'd like them to go, snap feature will force them to go to the snap which is extremely aggravating
If I was to incorporate a snap system I'd have to make an outpost buildable of every plant too which.... Oof

The point was to include a crafting system which is the whole reason I made a farm and hunting supporting system
But, you can get the food items two ways. One from the ship-o-diner that will randomly give you food from my mod and the other from the Gallux in NA
The Gallux sells almost all the items people would get organically
Do you have plans for the seed vault post TPS taking over? I’d love to see like scaffolding all over and construction robots roaming around, maybe it can become a trade point, it would be cool to work with the TPS on more projects, perhaps in the future you could have them try their hand at cloning, we know cloning technology exist in starfield, so maybe incorporate that into it 🙂

I went from 4.98 GB to friggin 5.21. That’s enough mods until we can get “adult” mods and Alien inspired mods. I’m scared my game will crash.

Anyone use the Apollo II paid mod? Always worked fine until I added @sharp lynx TG Galactic harvest and DarkStar tgo. Works fine except I can’t use the decorate function. Same LO as before. But Galactic and DS do come after it

If you are in the Residential Zone -- welll.. that ain't gonna work 😄
Also if you fill the loot tables once your loot table hits 255 items your game will ctd so....... There is a limit
Go back 1 before from BEFORE you were in residential (lodge is good, NA landing pad is good)

that's true.. in this case, if you've been playing around.. disabling/enabling only really seems to work in NA, and then ONLY when you're not in the residential area

Followed the instructions and got back a spaceship. No issues. Now I need to spend time and go back in time and save my other spaceships. Ooh I hope I can open the Christmas/Seasonal spaceships I did.

I was nice enough to include a water still that generates destilled water passively cause I found the amount used in crafting vs the amount able to be made was annoying

Before this I was crafting alien liquor in Strix I, and growing aromatic, membrane, and fiber fit other stuff. I could make alien liquor, distilled water, alien tonic, and boom pop Dynamite with my outpost setup.
Actually been calling myself a moonshiner all this time and now I can really make moonshine.
So this mod was exactly what I wanted.
well now you can do all that on your ship
the wild form plants all count as one part of every organic resource.
So the slugfruit for example, is membrane and can be used as membrane.
I'll consider it. I kinda like using a smaller b class ship for combat.

It's not that bad my issue was sitting around how much the game is trying to render for console especially with the size of ship Habs I've been using. If I wasn't ship building the games pretty stable well over 100 mods. The ship builder is just the most intense part of the game
I'm at 104 mods on Xbox now. I've had more, but never this high in terms of storage. 8.5gb of mods. Its a lot, but its running fine.

Yours is higher then mine and I have a higher crash rate. That should tell you youre fine as long as you don't make a legit colony sized ship that could be on par with the uc vigilance

The numeric values for XP boosts is very stupid

Apparently an increase of +3 = 340%

I'm so baffled by the amount of folks who can't seem to figure this out how to plant the plants. I put instructions right there on the crafting menu description and a how to message on the workbench itself with a sign next to it that says HOW TO
It's all about overrides, if I was to directly physically change every animal in the game it would've conflicted with every mod that touches animals

id say the obvious reason there is that most players dont read instructions as much, atleast early on

They were updating the repo almost every day
maybe at showcase they do a DLC announcement, which will release alongside PS5 version in the fall

Especially this long after release, it's not like mod authors are going to come back, dust off the mods they made 1 year+ ago to make them PlayStation-certified. Which means if they stick to that rule, playing Starfield on PS5 will be an objectively worse experience. I'm sure we'll get plenty of "why isn't X available on PS5? Make a PS5 version!" posts and "blame Sony" isn't an answer they're going to like.

Ya, you have to pack the terrain files and LOD to have a custom point of interest, so all them mods would be a no go. A lot of stuff you need to pack now. .mat files need to be packed, so no material swaps would work I think? I have not made custom textures yet.

Actually I'm wrong, material swaps would be OK, those are all in the CK and you don't need a .mat for them. I literally just released a mod yesterday that uses a custom swap so I should have known that, lol.
But you'd need a mat for any new textures of course, or any mod that (for example) makes visors transparent or gives them a different tint or whatever.
But scripts are the biggie, obviously.

I just made a new constellation flagship with so many observation decks, thanks to the new windowed cross passages. Its not my prettiest ship, but its amazing to fly in. I also love your new SPE version of the Ares bridge. One of the best things about an all SPE ship, great navmesh. Some other great ship mods out there leave my crew stuck a lot. This ship is working very well with Ship Crew Assignments.

FYI I'm also using DarkStar Total Game Overhaul, that's why i have such high stats on my cargo, sheild and weapons.
Truly is a great mod. I picked that up back when it dropped. I've been using it for the crews rooms since. I do have a request for any ship hab maker atm, until I can get in on the modding scene. This mod has one piece no other mod has. A 3x1x2, 3 long 2 tall 1 wide stair set that has a fore, aft, and double stair. I think it would fit best in spe since the previous maker already had it as a stroud piece. Anyone know how to get vortex to work with gamepass version of starfield? Ive tried every guide I can find, downloaded the extension, etc etc, but the mods just wont deploy and im at a loss as to why
I am not sure how you borked up that bad but it "just works". Hmm... Can't think of anything other than did you set it up correctly? Did you set up deployment correctly?

Try this:
- Uninstall Vortex
- Remove all things Vortex-Starfield related
- Remove anything not save or .ini related in the My Games/Starfield folder
- Reinstall Vortex
- Slowly configure Vortex
- Make sure you select the correct deployment process
Dunno if it matters at all but vortex keeps telling me all 5 of the mods im trying to use are redundant even though they are different
Redundancy can occur if there is already a version of the mod installed. So, possible that it is installed twice and one is being ignored.
Also I have done that already. There's only two deployment methods it's giving me and everything online is saying use the hardwire, which I've always used anyways. Im not 100% but I think when I installed the extension I selected the wrong file for it to deploy to and im not sure how to change that
Also it was saying that about the redundancy right after I downloaded them for the first time with nit having any other mods installed
Welp, time to gut it all and reinstall again lol. First remove all the mods though. Like, uninstall the mods. THEN remove Vortex and start over.

Nope, you wont lose progress. Xbox saves are in the local appdata folder in an Xbox-exclusive Starfield directory so no worries on that. Steam saves are in the My Games/Starfield directory.

So which data file am I wiping? The one that the browse files button takes me to im guessing since it's not via appdata
Oh, just remove the mods you installed, remove anything Vortex-related in the Starfield install location, then remove/reinstall Vortex.

I never figured out what deployment method is generally best, I use steam, I always used the symlink? which it defaults to for me these days but its been working always for me so never bothered to change it, only thing that bothers with symlink is the windows always asks the admin rights so i have to press yes or no everytime i deploy or remove mod

Just curious, I don't suppose anyone has worked out how to use the "drink" icon on the favorites wheel, or any custom icon for an aid (non weapon) item? I can see the drink shape/sprite in favoritesmenu.swf but it doesn't look like the vanilla game uses it.

But there are no eating animations that you can use normally. I've not experimented to see if they can be triggered by the player if your animation archetype is changed to a non-player one.
Is it possible to turn the Proxima centauri sun red in-game, outside of the map, in a mod?
So it looks like just player.caa does it, that will switch to NeutralAnims and allow the player to use "eating" furniture. But you would need to switch back to AnimArchetypePlayer after, and it kind of breaks the third person camera (you can't tilt up or down while walking).
Sup guys, looking to reinstall Starfield and was wondering if I could get a little help.
I want to work within the Xbox size limits but I want to overhaul outpost building, decor, crafting, factions, starship building, remove the limitations on starship building (like I want my BC-304 Daedulus build to have 4 beam weapons, 4 heavy railguns, and at least 2 missiles, preferably on turrets), and after that if there is room: improve the main cities as well.
Anyone have mod recommendations for all of that?

Pro tip: the growth rate is game based you can speed boost the growth by waiting at a bench or sleeping.
Since it's game based this also applies to local time rates, so if you want a fast crop yield build a farm on mercury

Eggs also require being dropped "from inventory" something I see commonly missed by folks they just build the egg and leave it and expect it to hatch, it will not you need to pick it up and drop it from your inventory to engage the hatching timer.

I'll need to investigate a bit more, I'm thinking the way to do this is with an activate option for furniture, switch to the neutral archetype, active the furniture, then back to the player one again. If that works I'll add it as an optional download to Usable Animation Markers.

You can disable or even delete Creation mods, but It does not re-enable achievements.

Honestly, same; however, there are some snap issues with the mod too. Both Vortex and Creation Club varients have the stutter and snap issues.

Keeping the plant decay system, I tried adding a way to do instant removal sadly it led to the fruits permanently respawning at location
Depends. With smarter space suit no longer receiving support ds tgo is the go too. Also a better version of legendary recycling. Ds tgo also adds together 3 guarenteed previous ds mods. And if you've been feeling op you won't anymore just add Bedlam for increased+ difficulty
Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too in this case. And as for matilijas I hope you're right. It's probably the backlog of edits they have hidden in the files not quite released

Ds tgo has a difficulty "slider" (i use that loosely as it is like bethesdas and located in the gameplay settings). I'm actually using gear stronger than what I can get from ds and I'm still getting smacked around at 300+

In the CK? Or is this something you have to make yourself, then import? Also has anyone ever figured out how many cells makeup a planet? I wanted to play with a mod idea of condensing the amount of planets/systems. Some planets like New Jemison I want to edit the terrain, Add locations, make pathways for vehicles, etc. And certain planets I want to add assets from others. As an example, let's say there's 10 habitable planets that all had similar greenery. I would choose 4 planets, then take the unique flora, fauna and other assets from the 6 planets I left out and sprinkle them in certain environments in the 4 planets I kept.

I heard there was a framework for it on PC, but not on console.
Just FYI I've run into a bit of a wall with this. Something can apparently disallow just the eating animation, other NPC archetype animations continue to work just fine. I have one save (pre-Trackers Alliance) where the player character can consistently eat/drink when using the appropriate furniture, but a later save where it never triggers, regardless of location or furniture.
Obviously none of this is documented or anything, but I've currently run out of things to try. I'm not really sure I want to put a mod out there which will work fine for some people, but might then stop working for unknown reasons. Maybe it's worth it for the other NPC archetype animations it would make possible, but ironically the thing you asked for specifically is going to be a problem, it seems.
I'll probably replay Trackers and see if it breaks again, but unless I'm able to find the cause it will be something that won't work for everyone.
Well, damn. That’s very odd that it works only sometimes and only for certain players. That is weird coding. So, in essence, I’ll just wait until custom animations comes along.
It's possible that it has something to do with being stuck in a trespassing state, that's the only clue I have right now. Like I said, I'll replay Trackers and see what happens. But if that's the cause, I don't know how to correct it other than to revert to an old save. We'll see.

So.. I can't seen to find this mysterious "vegetables" item required for certain recipes in the TG's galactic harvest mod. I've tried planting and harvesting every plant that I can think of and gotten every vegetable item I could find but still no "vegetables". I'm very confused 😕

It's because it requires the vegetables from my mod you're meant to grow say a carrot and use that
If that's not working that's definitely something I'll need to fix right away but any of the veggies from my mod should do

I mean, I assume it's the former without a patch, but it would be amazing if the later somehow worked (and would give a reason to install all those extra New Atlantis and Akila player home mods)
Game Options Extended needs an option that disables the following:
- Option that disables/enables the automatic entry into the ship to the cockpit (for immersion purposes)
- Option to disable/enable fast travel to ship
- Option to disable/enable fast travel to vehicle

I figured out you have to drop the vegetables on a flat surface pretty easily. I was just hoping they would start growing and I can secure the bountiful harvest. That’s all.

Its funny you mention it because I forgot it was installed. Just went to NA and saw two walking around. One gave me the side quest for the scientist near the tree after dialogue that was edited by the modder to sound robotic.

Well, in my pursuit to get rid of stuttering in game not only have I found mods that cause it, I have also found that in some cases the Steam Overlay can cause it too.
One for me would be the talking cockpit voice from the flight sim you have to do to join the UC. Specifically the low-pitch male voice one.

I need to figure out how to disable the EXP multiplier. I don't want more EXP for making my game harder. It defeats the purpose of making the game harder. I want hard leveling, surviving, killing, being killed, ships... so on. No additional EXP needed or wanted.
It should work on both. It hacks and interacts with the decorator directly. as long as it is properly set, a modded one would work too

For a second there, I thought the animation tools had released.
Unpacked, but there are two file types between the houdini files and the content resources.
- Houdini files = BGS Art File
- Reources = BGS Material File
When creating a star CC wants a .nif file, which are the BGS art files.

Sorry to bother you, but I am having problems with Astrolabe. The menu does not display at the top of the star field. I have tried moving the mod around in the load order and shutting down and restarting the whole game.
Maybe I’m just doing something stupid and missing something important but any advice would be definitely helpful .
