Dude. I am legitimately excited for this. I've been putting together a Vanguard playthrough mod list and well, honestly, I think I'm gonna hold off on it till you're done with this. Something to do with making patch or mods that requires "Paid mods" or "Paid Creations". That they are forbidding people to upload mods on Nexus that requires a paid content with the exception of Bethesda made content.

Not surprising with as young as Starfield modding still is. If people decide Nexus isn't worth the hassle, the in-game options are already acceptable enough to use instead.
Longer established communities for Skyrim and Fallout 4 will resist this more, but even those are starting to see the change happen.
I think there's been a bit of butting heads between the community and nexus. Without bad mouthing or going far into it

I feel like the Nexus made a good decision to pump the brakes on paid mods. I do hope the rules concerning content with paid dependencies changes, but the site as it is today is really not equipped to organize content like that, not yet at least. I do hope the Nexus will eventually put resources into supporting such a thing.

What sort of better review system? Anything involving more than the "likes" we already have (equivalent to endorsements on Nexus) would go too far IMO.
And comments would only be viable if we have the same level of control over them as we do on Nexus.

The reason why I wish they would bring comment sections back for Bethesda mods pages is because I wanted to give feedback to Kingrath for their Doom mod for Starfield, and had to go through the effort of finding their discord server, joining their patreon and joining their discord. I wanted to directly say that the mod is awesome, but some of my small complaints are that the Doom shotgun doesn't have a unique reload animations, just the same animations as other shotguns in Starfield has. But then again, there's no animation tool kit for Starfield yet. Another complaint is the mod didn't have one of Doom monsters and wished they'd at least be at the last part of the Doom quest in Starfield.

I also figured out how to populate the biomes with animals. You can sink the wired up animal husbandry habs into the biomes, shoot the animals outside, and then they appear in the biomes. I have dinosaurs in the jungle hab. Looks very Jurassic.

@sharp lynx love love love the new biomes mod! Only thing i wished was if the glass could be toggled to normal and sonething else, maybe the stary night glass from your galactic colonies biome? To prevent the dislocation of being in 1 biome but looking out to something totally different. But regardless, loving it.
Once i get around to fully fleshing the inside decor out (thankfully I have the next 2 weeks off) I'll decide. Hard to pick, they are all great

I actually don't mind the glass. How I am ending up using them (my head canon) is to put animals in there that either tend to kill my colonists, like foxbats, or animals that don't live in the biome I put my outpost in. Also, I used it on a barren planet like a terraforming idea. My favorite is the Autumn one, the second one. The first and 2nd one and the one with the snow and the house take the animals really well.

You know it is strange to see which animals work in the jars. Some do and some don't. It is like the certain animal effects the behavior of the animal husbandry building itself. To work, you almost need to see a bit of the ceiling coming up out of the floor, even if it is just the seam in the roof.
The horses on Magnar would not work. The building just sinks to the ground.

Really you don't need a mod at all. There are empty habs in the vanilla game. I like Item displays Enhanced, Bookshelf Displays enhanced, Graf's Habs are pretty good, Stroud Premium Edition habs, STEM empty habs, and Miss O's Furnish Your Fleet and Better Buildable Walls and Doors
Invisible craft stations is pretty great too. You can make any desk an industrial craft station for example.
Any of the hab mods for collecting treasures?
This was a STEM empty 3x1. I broke it up with Miss O's buildable walls and lots of the Enhanced Displays. I collect a lot of things.
The Intrinity Armory and Brig is also Recommended. HUGE amount of display for weapons and armor.

Yes it is. “Avontech Deployables”. You can deploy rockets, turrets, and call on the UC (UC PARA VIVA!!!) to help you out in space combat.

@normal steeple Hi! Malloy! I have used A Staple Addition and love it so much. I have some questions about it. I want to know how the staple guns are generated. As you mentioned, you manually replaced 778 vanilla staple guns, and I'm wondering if the manual replacement is limited to major cities or includes all POIs. By the way, will the staple gun generate on enemies, as loot and from vendors?
Hey! That is great to hear! So as it stands, the original staple guns were all manually replaced, there was a selection of pack-ins that were used across a few POI's so that kind of covers them. I did add some more around the Key, government buildings etc... However I will be doing more placements in the future! Also expanding the variety + make them more formidable for combat
I didn't add them to any vendor listings or spawning on enemies because the idea was they're just a staple gun in the world and a chance find and hopefully players can decide based on the cosmetic/legendary effects whether they want to add it to their arsenal... Once the combat elements have been improved they'll be less under dog and possibly worth adding to enemies equip chance.

any suggestions for immersive travel mods? selected target location is kind of usefull, so a mod that removes the random screenshots as loading screens and replace it with a short animation film depending on the movement would be wonderfull.
that paid wormhole creation mod looks good. maybe it works together with "black loading screen mover" for super immersive space travel.

@sharp lynx for a while I was only finding the Dark Nuka Cola. I found one of the Forgotten POIs and there were Nuka Colas all over the place and a big variety of them. I'm picking up all these great legendaries but giddy over finding a quantum nuka cola. 😅 I found the green one too, but can't remember what that one is called.

My feedback. As Sims player, I need more "More Jobs" series 🥲 to roleplay
both, there something important that I'm missing, that might be related to the material settings, I learned that for it be possible to change colors I need to add layers on the material, which I did, and I think I need to somehow parent the material to the ones that change colors on the material editor
for letting it change colours like other pieces, there's a keyword you need on the ship piece - ShipsAll_ColorSwaps01. In terms of naming your materials, your new material will need to exist with _Primary, _Secondary, and/or _Tertiary in the name, eg ShipsBluePaintedMetal03_Primary.mat. The primary vs secondary vs tertiary determines if it's changeable by Colour 1, Colour 2, or Colour 3, respectively.
As far as I know there isn't a way to add a custom material to the color picker options, but I might be wrong there. Never looked into it.
oh I see you are right, the layers make sense that way, also I took apart a material made by another author to see how he did it and found this, opening the .mat file on visual studio code
it adds the material path first

this lines must be important to add it to the pool of materials that can change colors
Not sure about that - when I did the custom shells for my Ashlander habs I just built the .mat in the CK Layered Material Editor (copying an existing one). When I found that I couldn't change the colours in-game, I worked out that those Primary/etc tags probably mattered, and in the data\materials folder I renamed the new mat(s) to have the appropriate tag piece. Then it worked 
I think I also had to have them in the respective subfolder - Primary goes in \Primary etc
if you search in the folder structure for the tag ordinals you should be able to find the full paths
I'm testing rn and think only the primary tags, etc are the ones that matter lol its working for me now
doesn't look very good tho because I think the main _color file has to be white or more bright

so, nearly every single time i edit/expand my ship in the ship builder it causes the 'useful brigs' mod to malfunction and stop working entirely. dont know why that happens. sometimes in the useful brig terminal it will be completely blank. like a non-loaded browser. other times it will be loaded, but refuses to open/close doors and when i try to place someone in the brig it tells me "you have no room for anymore prisoners'. i read something about it being the doors that malfunction to the brig somehow. and i have no idea how to fix that.

I havent had that issue before but i rarely edit my ship after finsihing the build because i decorate it and dont want to lose the interiors. But i have usefubrigs, non lethal frame work and the patch, at the very top of my load order one under each other and the only thing above them are big game overhauls like skinthetics

Quit working for me. But, the old version makes my game crash to desktop. I got the big fat C next to my saves now. Of course, I'd rather be able to test my mods anyway, so I just have to deal.
Sure can. I even posted on the No Sodium Starfield Reddit how to place animal husbandry habs in there to populate your biome with animals. The cozy camping mod works great in them too.

About the only way to pin down the cause is going to be disable a couple of mods at a time, restart game and try to load a game. Once sound comes back, re enable one of last two you disabled. Been through this a couple of times. I run about 28 gb of mods and just crossed the 1700 hr mark. You can do it. The force is on your side. 💯🫡

So, I'm trying to use LGBSHI's "Auto-solve temples" on XBox Gamepass on PC, but every time I try to load a save with it installed, it puts me in this loop where Creations tells me that the mod needs to be downloaded. When I download it, creations tells me that it is downloaded, but then it tells me that it needs to be downloaded again.
I'm not sure what's going on with it to cause this issue. Anyone got any thoughts or do I just disable that mod when I'm trying to do something on PC?

make sure you got 32 gig of ram. a 4060 is okay but since it uses only 8 lanes, it should have x16 lanespeed (on the mainboard). @green pumice

Yes, you can switch mid playthrough. It's just a single file you place in your Starfield directory (where Starfield.exe is).
Make sure you remove Baka First.
Have you done a hard console cache clear and reset. Hold the button in console until light blinks and goes out. Do t let off the button until you see fan fan slow down. That’s always my first step. The next few aren’t as easy but …
This always works 9 times out of 10.
I’m not sure why it’s needed, as none of my other games require this, but I’m glad the fix is there.

Have you delted the files in the documents/user folder? that worked for me to fix crashing, as they are not replaced by deinstall/reinstall
and delete the starfield folder manuelly so that all mods are gone.
Whichever has 32GB of RAM. But take my tip - partition your SSD (or format a whole one) as a Windows 11 DevDrive otherwise the CK may load v-e-r-y-s-l-o-w-l-y. If you are making suits and outfits, you will probably need 3D modelling software and rendering software because these aren't included in the CK.

I've run into this issue with other mods. Might want to check to see if the mod its asking for is an esp or esm. If its an esp but the dependancy was set to an esm you can download till you're blue in the face. it doesn't recognize it even though its installed.

So I've had instances when I get lazy and have CK convert my esp to esm and it ends up uploading the esp instead of the esm. This has happened to me while updating a mod and users reported this issue. Seen it myself in my mods and others that have had this happen. PC or Xbox. Easiest way to see for yourself is to see if this mod goes back to the end of your load order despite moving it. esp files go to the last in the load order no matter what. IF this is your issue the mod author will have to reupload the esm. Or you can just play with the esp assuming other mods are not dependant on it.
If your load order is rather strict in its order, using the esp may not be an option.
I just get past the load screen, and the game crashes.
This is on Xbox, I have deleted the reserved space and reinstalled the game, not sure what else I can do

Disregard. Hard reset/clearing my cache on Xbox Series X allowed me to reinstate the mods, activate, and reorder them in my load order. Very weird glitch there.

Yeah I’ve followed the steps reinstalled the game now and I haven’t had any crashes when looking through creations for an hour (haven’t downloaded any yet hopefully the game stays standing)

It’s started happening again after I had been downloading my load order (about 60 mods) game crashes on start up when I am still in the main menu (not trying to access creations or load a save and it still crashes) 😔
It may be related to your mods then. It could possibly be that one or more need updates. Try taking off all mods, then if it works add them back one by one to see which one is causing the problem.
If you can't access the in game mod menu, you should be able to disable them from the website.

Those (mostly) aren't real updates anyway. Bethesda just hasn't fixed their update notifications, still.
It's always annoying that when I try to update my mods on Creations that I downloaded, then even after playing the game and eventually saved and quit the game, I open the game again and it still tells me the mods I try to update needs to update again. The only way to truly update it is uninstall or disable the plugin, load the game, make a save, update or reinstall the mods, then load the new save.
I suspected as much. But I still load the game, then creations, update, then restore load order, back to game menu, let it load again, then finally load my saved game.
It's whatever.
Hello peeps, I'm looking for some mod help regarding Xbox mods' textures not loading correctly - More specifically; the current mod I want to use like really badly is the ATLAS Clothing mod, however the textures will at random go all glitchy and pixelated, like it's not loading the textures properly? Weird thing is that it happens for every mod that adds in new textures, they'll go all pixelated and buggy at completely random, and this has been happening since they released modding capabilities onto the Xbox - if it helps I play on the Series S 👀

Thanks for letting me know; a handful of others have also reported this issue, but I haven't been able to reproduce it and the recent metrics for the mod imply that most people aren't experiencing it either. I'd recommend testing with no other mods installed (temporarily), and if that doesn't work, a new save with just a quick start mod and this mod (in case a conflicting mod has baked something into your save that could be causing the issue).
Hmm, I haven't had anyone else report any conflicts with this mod, but it's possible there is one with another mod in your load order. Generally if you're concerned with a conflict, place the mod that's stopped working at the bottom of your load order to test. It's not foolproof since there are still ways in which mods higher in your LO could break mods lower (and your save file could have effects from some mods baked in), but generally it will do the trick.

Yep, that's apparently the case for at least some of the other people experiencing the issue. Several reported that it worked for them until the (I believe) June Starfield update.

Yeah that's the painful part of trying to fix a mod is trying to narrow issues down, everyone's load order is so different and then if it's not a lo issue on a fresh save, then what? Haha
I wonder if uninstalling and reinstalling may fix? Maybe too many objects loaded in and that might reset it? I back up my load order frequently so nothing lost if I were to

Anything is possible. Or maybe they added an object that overlaps the box, but it's not showing up for some people due to other mods or something. I guess look at the screenshots for the mod and check that area for the box inside of another object or wall if you're feeling up to it.
Otherwise I'll dig around next time I'm tinkering with Starfield stuff.

@lavish flax Try deleting and redownloading the mod now. I uninstalled and reinstalled Starfield, and tested again, and was able to reproduce the problem of the box being missing. I then edited the mod, moving the box's reference by 1/100th of a distance unit (imperceptible to the player), and the box is now showing up for me again.

Hello, is there a thread anywhere for help troubleshooting the CK itself? I cannot get it to run, I get CTD when just loading Starfield.esm. I have completely removed the game and CK and reinstalled from Steam and verified the files and it still won't load up.

CTD typically seems to be the result of insufficient memory on load for SF CK, but related to unpacked files from Source.
I had it initially, and deleted source files in data, got the CK loading, then only unpacked what I needed.
If you unpacked all the mesh files from the ba2 it's pretty much guaranteed to CTD too
I've got 32GB RAM and 12GB video RAM and I still can't unpack all that and run it
Keep in mind that CK is generally a bit unstable anyway

Likely not. Mods like that typically land in free mods. There are a couple SF Verified creatons for structures/outpost stuff, but I couldn't say whether anything like that is included in any
Thank you for your post. I have 64 gig of RAM, i7 13th gen CPU, and 16 Gig VRAM on a 4080 RTX, so I should be good there. Here's the funny thing. I figured out a way to get it at least to open, but I have to delete all the CreationKit INI files in the Starfield root directory. I made a copy of the vanilla CreationKit.ini file and reuse it each time I launch the CK. It loads, will save a plugin, create new forms and save etc. However, whenever I try to view any object whether in Preview or the Render Window it insta CTD. I've seen some threads on Reddit and the Nexus about drivers and such, but all my drivers are freshly installed and I am not using any settings in the Nvidia app to control the CK. In fact, it's not even in my available games to run through the app. I'm stumped. Oh, and I don't have any bsa files unpacked.
You might want to try the Nvidia developer driver out. Could solve that
Technically, CK runs on the game exe as far as I know. That's why it's such a small install
Also, Nvidia has there new app out, and I found it is a little buggy at first, but works for me now at least

13 and 14th gen Intel had major issues couple months ago that degraded the cpus and caused issues, there was fix for them but if your cpu was already effected it does nothing.

Would a “Captain’s Log” type of mod be hard to implement? Showing where you’ve been on a laptop in the Captain’s Quarters? Which fauna and flora are on which planet the player HAS visited? Random emails from people you’ve met and spam emails every so often?

Sorry, ever since Mehrunes Dagon in Oblivion, I’ve been absolutely terrified of vertically large enemies in games. I think Mass Effect 2 also fed into that fear.
Someone made one on nexus that basically transforms the player character into a large mech model as a playable character until they "get out" and then it turns back into a stationary model

Did you make the stargate portals? i think its a wonderfull way to make starfield more immersive and connecting locations and avoid menus. if every major human settelmen would have one that would be great. but please do what your artistic vision tells you, you like to do 🙂

honestly I'd like to see more "starfield" starfield mods
So asking here before assuming anything. I'm using the STAG N-Forcer vehicle mod. Anyone else used it and if so did it seem like the boost on it was inefficient?
For me it feels heavier than the buggies and the boost/thrust certainly enforces that feel but I drove into a not deep ditch, just enough it couldn't drive out, just wedged and the thrust/boost wasn't efficient enough to get me out and it was stuck. No amount of effort forward/reverse, boost or thrust could free it. Not sure what other mod I'm running that could cause this but just wanna see if anyone else is having similar experience.
The thrusters seem incapable of lifting it even a foot off the ground to help dislodge me. lol
If you get out and return to your ship, when you take off it should collect it. Next landing it will respawn outside your ship
You may just be stuck on terrain somehow. Not sure what the thrusters are capable of, but it may be unrelated
My issue isn't that it's stuck exactly. More so that it doesn't seem to be capable of unsticking itself should it happen. It seems "too heavy" for the thrusters to lift it even enough to dislodge it. Unlike the vanilla vehicles.
I'm trying to figure out if this is a me issue or an intended design choice for this particular vehicle.
This is as high off the ground it goes. Tested this on Jemison to make sure this wasn't some weird gravity issue.

yea sure one could use a model A but it's a bit more complicated than just that
Well, it's basically an extension right. Power system, scripts would need some changes, a few modifications to the power armor frame to make it fit the mech pilot interface and give you a window, a new UI for the pilot, and maybe grab some stuff from the rover to help hook it up

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to make an .ESM file display multiple languages? For example, when you use English as the game language, the text will show in English; if you use Japanese, Chinese or other game languages, the text will display in the corresponding language.

Working on FO4 settlement mod for Abernathy Farm. Expanded build able area back to just past the trailer, and over to include Wicked Shipping Fleet Lock-up
Completely rebuilt the Abernathy house to almost match the original layout, with a 2nd floor over the living area and a kitchen and counter area, plenty of platforms and a usable roof
All the foundation has been replaced, and I used steel posts and I-beams for the main support structure, along with a lot of post and beam construction
A Boardwalk between Red Rocket and the outskirts of Abernathy, restored the trailer, moved the grave and made a proper cemetery, and restored Wicked Shipping
Couple other changes as well. Got quite involved lol

You got it right. The different platforms do not talk to each other. It will not read the save from the Xbox for example on your PC.
Idk if a mod like this exists but if someone made this a paid mod take my money. Idea of mod; along the lines of enemies using more "communcations" during fights, like example going to a POI, fighting some Crimson Fleet members. There will be a chance for a something to trigger a NPC to either run to some sorts of coms to call in back up. With the backup that's up to the authors decision but cool things like either 1 or 2 (depending if you can make a difficulty slider to add more customization) ships landing down. Could also be vice versa, a bounty ship lands, you start fighting them and you notice one of the NPC is running back to its ship and could have a coms panel where the ladder is in the landing bay.

I’m not trying to complain or whine or be a Negative Nelson, but I run my Starfield experience as a Space Marine sim and it’s kinda hard to do that because I’m BIG on immersion. There’s just not a ton of immersive mods for that kinda play style on the market right now, so I try to throw out ideas and it definitely seems like a bad thing.
I think MonkeyChief made the best mod with that UC Overhaul, which I’m EXTREMELY grateful for.

That’s what I see. A small team MAYBE working on Starfield stuff, while Elder Scrolls VI is in development, but I don’t think Starfield has the staying power like FO76 has, due to it being MP with an online component. Definitely not for a decade.
And again, I have a tremendous amount of respect for the modders because they made this game lovable, tbh.
Bethesda is betting on the fact that their games will be played regardless for years to come
So, it's safe to say that Bethesda is now focusing on making a game that can last a few years and also adjust their games according to feedback, rather than releasing a one off title that not many players liked, after the mixed reception with Fallout 4 a decade ago, I think it's clear, they would rather take their time with the development of their games
And they know modding is gonna happen anyway, so why not also build a game that the modding community can play around with, hence why Todd mentions that Starfield will be "a modder's paradise".... imo, they know enough what to make, it's now a matter of what else will they do
Really? So why did FO 4 get a nice little roadmap and Starfield didn’t get such luxury? Everything is guesswork with Starfield. And they are extremely tight lipped about everything with it? I mean, that’s their right, but I just can’t shake the feeling of “flying by the seat of their pants” with Starfield. It just seems like a lot of the decisions with the game are “off the cuff”, so to speak.
after watching a few of the interviews and talks from former Bethesda devs
I think its clear the company got way too bloated and work got all over the place
not to mention, now that Microsoft is also making decisions for what goes in and out of the game, I think its clear theres a lot of back and forth with the game's development, to a point where Bethesda is trying their best to keep up with expectations from the players and their higher ups in the gaming industry
whatever work they did with Fallout 4 back then is definitely waaay different than how it is now
and with Microsoft as the head honcho now, whatever plans Bethesda had for their games... well, its not just them making the decisions now
all that said, Im all in on whatever Bethesda makes with their games, and i also know a few years after those games launch, the modding community will keep their games going for years beyond
its all a matter of waiting and seeing what Bethesda does next

after that, its all in on Creations while they move onto to releasing TES6

I doubt SF will reach 10 years of development, I'd say about 5 years after launch is about right, which includes the yearly-story expansions and updates and new features added into the base game.
After that, I'd say they are done and its all just new Creations from that point on.
I believe it was “Blah, blah, blah. We’ll have ten more years of content for Starfield…” or something to that effect. I see 2027 being the sunset period.

so, im not too worried with the modding for SF down the road
all i care about now is when will Bethesda officially end making story content for SF, which I guess we can all say is still years away from now
I would think, and I’ll leave it at this, that the influx of modders who were 💯 percent down with Starfield and were modding and putting everything in place, would have been around in June, modding , and then it’d then get bigger from there because of interest and ideas. It seems to be a lull in interest and ideas. Everything seems to be the same as it was in June when the CK was released.
ive chatted with a few modders on here before, and they were all hyped up for modding SF. Many had ideas they wanted to do from the get go after its launch. They were just waiting on when the CK will get dropped coz modding without it is a hassle, so ive been told lol
then once it did, they went all in. So in the end, I'm not too worried about Starfield, I knew exactly what to expect on launch and I cant wait to see where things go from both sides
Do mind some modders are also taking it personally with their effort, so they're adding extra hours into their work to be as good as it can be for when it releases. June was 6 months ago and I'm aware of Hjalmere who has been working on their Falkland mod for that long if not longer, so I think it's reasonable to understand that great mods will come, they just won't be built in a day unfortunately (I'd probably be able to pay modders bills if they did release great paid content every week)

give it time and more mods from other franchise apart from Star wars will happen
modding for Starfield is still in its infancy, the modding community is just going through a phase 
I feel like Starfield would really benefit from some 40k mods-

The Star wars mods are great and there is one that still needs to get done (for the new Xbox) and it's a "Star wars background music mod" the way they did the"game of thrones background music mod" for Skyrim. It makes an amazing difference in giving you the genuine feeling of being in that particular universe. Someone please make this happen for Starfield on Xbox. Msg me directly and I'm open to paying whichever modder does it 😉👍

While i would like it, i also think it would it make quite likly, they get a copyright strike and current good stuff would be taken down, which would be unfortunat. While i like other sci-fi franchises, truly unique story quests/characters etc. would be great too.

the mods that i mostly prefer to get are the ones that are either lore-friendly to the game's setting or it fits the game's aesthetic and tone.
not that mods that are based on other IPs are bad, I just like to have mods that fits the game overall

and it's not at the very bottom of structures
did you try uninstalling and re-installing? what system are you using? clearly console which one

yea they use the same template as the other ones. this is also a very uncommon issue as I haven't been flooded with people experiencing this, which usually when there's a consistent problem I 100% hear about it and it seems like half the planet lets me know.
not sure, I guess just try doing an uninstall, load the game, save the game, reinstall check the mod as active, check and see if it works then uncheck it as active then check it again.

as in... since these are a later installment they might not be tracking the condition

if you make a new character and hit lvl 3 decor it might just magically fix the problem

Top of your load order means load first, bottom is load last. If you want to minimize the chances of another mod overwriting something in a mod you're testing, you'd want to load it last rather than first.

if you do, do that, I highly recommend making split saves in the event that isn't the problem

I just find it odd that majority Series X players didn't run into this...... which is frustrating cause I prefer consistent problems those are easy to fix XD

Honestly I have a lot of respect for modders, I've worked with them a bunch trying to help with troubleshooting on console. Done it for Skyrim, Fallout, and Starfield

I just realized i can use "voice attack" (voice commands) for more immersion in starfield. "Set course" (trigger e to select next quest marker in other system) and "Engage or Warp Me" to iniate traveling. i wonder how many menues i can work around that way happy

As long as they are stable, makes my experience smooth then I'm here for it. I removed all my non verified creator mods because one of them was causing some questionable concerns so i just decided to stick with all achievement friendly mods, back to my vanilla save and i been enjoying Starfield again.
Creations menu item "updated" need urgent fix. Urgent.
Whats the current issue?
This menu item is a MESS. Instead of "Updated", this item should be named "NEW UPDATES" and present us just the most recent mods with new updates NOT old updated mods.
This makes no sense because if we update a mod, it's ok, the update should be removed in my Creations. But in fact the already updated mods goes back to the "updated" menu .
This creates a huge mess, with old updates together with new ones! Right now I have DOZENS of already updated mods together with new ones, and I don't know which is which anymore!
@sharp lynx I think I figured out the problem, I have some kind of mod that's auto completing the research projects. That might be why the Environment Jars Mod isn't working for me

Exactly. It’s bugged. I just lost track of what is already updated and what needs an update.
I have my game broken 2 times because of this mess. My theory is Bethesda's Creations is incapable to "read" our game and register which mod is already updated, then the app bring back old updated mods over and over.
In another words, Creations is dumb.
and i guess switching to a mod manager does not allow to use creations paid in creations? as they are only avilalbe there...

It’s even worse on console, as we don’t have a lot of luxuries that PC users have, such as mod manager or console commands.

Yeah it was a mod that messes with research so that there's no material requirements. As soon as I got rid of it and used a research bench to get decor 3, it worked!
Not only that, but other mods started working too!!!
Version numbers for mods can get baked into your save game. The McClarence Outfitters for example I downloaded at version 1.0. It's been updated since, the new features in the update do work, but the Creations menu wants to re-download the mod every time I check for updates.
I think I know that mod. I had an issue with it on game #2, I believe? I’m on my 4th playthrough. Never beat the game due to mods breaking my save. Lol
That’s pretty much my case. The updates work and the mod DOES get updated, however, the mod will stay in the “Update” page, even though it was updated. So I just kinda stopped updating the mods, tbh.
You may be able to work around the issue by disabling the mod, loading a save, save, quit, back into Creations menu and then update. Problem is you don't want to do this with mods like McClarence since you'll lose all your progress.
That’s what I’m scared of. Lol. That or the save being borked because I disabled it and tried to play the game WITHOUT the mod.
Yeah, any quest related mod or mod that adds objects to the game such as ship parts or outpost structures will probably cause problems such as game crashes. You could always make a manual save and test anyway. Mods such as outfit replacers or texture swaps should be fine to remove. You can usually get away with removing a mod that adds outpost items if you find and delete all of the new items that you've placed.
