The issue seems to be somewhere between the network speed and the multiplayer connection. There’s a disconnect somewhere in there.
Because all my TV apps still work, but none of the games do
It's either between the influx of people all trying to reconnect or something on xboxs end or both

With today's update to the #Starfield CK, we are also removing the ability to upload Creations with altered ini files, since some altered ini files are resulting in more negative effects than the benefits for allowing this functionality, such as audio corruption on the Xbox.

Lighting is better. even so. You can now decorate they have 4 lights I was placing in the cockpit that made it fine.

Having the guardian cockpit would make my little in universe head canon even better. I'm using a different mod that lets me use guardian weapons and the stealth tech. Basically my chat salvaged/reverse engineered the tech from the e guardian for regular ship use

if you use it with place doors there's no million doors just openings it's nice

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh niiiiiiice! I do think the vanilla doorways are claustrophobic. A bulk head you can seal makes sense for things such, as a space ship, an underwater building , a submarine… but not every single meeting point would have them. The cost would be prohibitive. The important areas would seal, but not every single room.

The NPC can gamble but we can't sit on one and gamble. That is legitimate.
Keep in mind they disable the mods that affect ini's - so no telling what may be different

Can anyone with port experience tell me why I'm getting this only on the helmet, It's radiclowns boba fett, the mod itself works fine, but for some reason I'm getting a bssteam error and the vertex layouts aren't working, I'm trying to get the assets into CK to do some extra color versions

I have a mod that makes it to where I get five skill points per level and I have all perks/skills completely leveled up(except stuff that you unlock as part of the quests/questlines) and I have 230 skills points left over.

Anyone had success spawning biome creatures with the CK? I'm creating a custom POI and Biome_Predator or Biome_PredatorHerd (and LocRef versions) don't actually spawn aliens for me.

That could be the load order of your mods or a broken mod.
Tbe NPC inventory mod is breaking workshop
When you download it, it's causing players games to freeze and it causes the workshop to stay in an infinite loading screen

If i rembermber correctly is INI files in mods, that alter water files , Godrays , lens flare and that kind of stuff

Save Color Filter Removal and other ini edits (god rays, etc) in your library tab so you’ll still have them.
We still have grass ini and SWF for Skyrim Xbox and they banned ini edits for Skyrim in December.
So when you open the web page for the mod on Beth net, bookmark it AND add it to your library

The audio glitch seems to be tied to ini edits they said, so they’re stopping them
CK for Starfield is only a month old. There will be many growing pains for awhile.
I havent played Skyrim in a long time, i played it for over a decade. I remember when they updated modding Creations on Skyrim. I just lost the spark for it. I think the old system was way better. It was always pain to mod it on console compaired to pc. But a great game, no doubt👌
Now for the infinite loading screen, you need your clear your reserve space if you’re on Xbox. Then redownload and reorganize your mods.
For xbox series x starfield, help I am using the adoring fangirl mod and she is mute.

All my mods have now been updated and fixed, including Earth Restored, no more audio bug 🙂

Somewhere in the middle 🤔
Okay, so to clear your cache, save your game, exit to desktop, highlight game, select exit in the options that pop up when you press the button below the big round button, on the right hand side. Go up to your Xbox, hold the round power button down until the light stops flashing. Unplug the power cord from the back. Wait a couple minutes. Plug it back in and resume your fun.
(You’ll also see manage game there too. You can go into that, scroll down, select your reserve space, click it, it will say clear. That’s how you clear your reserve space.)
As a rule, clear your cache any time you change your LO.
Best to test new mods on a NEW save, not an ongoing save.
If you get infinite loading screens or horrible CTDs, clear your reserve space, and redownload your mods
Practice smart modding and it’s much less rage inducing/painful.

Should be perfectly fine to install mid-game. Just make another save copy of your most recent save just in-case. Always good to have backups

You have to zoom in to map and click next to ocean, then you can use the in-game terrain map to see direction of the ocean if that helps

what if you made the main body a primary colour of the pattern? eg instead of black on the yellow-ish camo one, it was a yellow shade? etc
Anyone use Biome_Predator or Biome_PredatorHerd etc with any success? They should spawn biome appropriate predators, I'm testing an overlay instanced interior cave on Jemison and can't get anything to spawn using those. On the exterior worldspace cell of the cave POI, also no spawning. Using a PCM_Alpha-Centauri_Jemison_Predator02 etc, I can manually place monsters to spawn, but that's far from ideal. Even getting biome_critter or biome_prey working would be good.

@tight plinth I was told on Reddit to try and contact you on here. Your Starborn Furnished mod on Xbox doesn’t seem to work with the latest starfield update. Not sure if you were aware :). (Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t fix it. Neither does reordering the load order)
Yep, thanks, I saw your post on Reddit just now. I'm not sure what's wrong. The Bethesda patch notes don't mention any changes that would obviously affect the mod.

At the moment I'm waiting for meh321 to update Address Library for SFSE Plugins, so can't run the game.
If anyone still receives the no audio bug with any of my mods after update on Xbox, make sure to do a full refresh of your Xbox mod folder and redownload your mods, then the audio will come back. Seems some old files linger for a few people.
The Xbox is full of tricks, just comes up with new problems when it feels like 😂

I just had someone accuse me publicly (and quite nastily) of stealing their mod for Rosie. And it's over - wait for it - the idea of adding an NPC to a particular faction. Something I helped them with in their own mod comments. What makes it worse is that I'd already done the substantive change of adding healing dialogue, and posted instructions on how to do it, nearly two weeks before they'd even uploaded their mod. You'd think people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, wouldn't you?

I'd just add that I take permissions and credits very seriously, I've always privately asked for permission to use assets etc. even when permissions allow, so this was totally uncalled for.
That mods been available now for awhile and now they are claiming you stole it? Sounds like they had the same idea and wanted to charge for it. I can see why yours being free would be a problem. But other than that - just release it. People will gravitate to the better one.

Theirs wouldn't work properly on Xbox anyway, it needs you to use console commands on an existing save.
And yeah, they do ask for "donations" for their mod so you might have hit the nail on the head there. Technically that's against the Creation Kit EULA, although Nexus has never enforced that.
Probably just a play to stir up controversy so people will side with them and choose their mod and hopefully donate. Don't get sucked into that drama. If you got a good mod it'll stand on its own.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that method; but doing so pushes all creation mods towards the end of the list, that way. And I rather not mess with the LO more than needed.
Yeah I let it auto order and so far that's treated me well. But I'm sure eventually I'm going to have to manually tweak my load order.
besides, deleting a mod means you're going to have to find it again first. 🙂 (with a growing list of available mods, this is going to get more annoying every time).

in Creations under "category list" (the option in the bottom left) you can view just "my library" or "bookmarked". It's not ideal, but you could bookmark just the mods you're actively using, then go there to re-download them.

Yeah slowly adding my dream parts in there, felt like a lot was missing from ship utility and options to control your layouts better.
Is there an audio issue again, I haven't downloaded any new mods, just booted up my game and the audio was super low.
Manage to get the audio back, had to clear saved data and redownload mods again

Love the picks! as for deco or empty, it's honestly better off to have these empty as that's just better optimized for anyone installing it. If they decorate their home to the point it causes performance issues or they have low specs and even with it lightly decorated causes performance issues I'd rather it be on their pace and not my "NASA PC"

Well now I'm really stumped. Instead of even duplicating a cell, this time I just made an overlay of DR003CaveWorld on Jemison, travel there, 3 prey as in the base game and CK. Duplicate each Biome_Prey in the cell, so now there are 6 in the CK. Travel to the overlay on Jemison, 3 prey in game. 
So mod are taking priority over og game files

If so, I don't see why that would be related; I'm not touching workshop or anything that would affect general game stability. Unless BGS did something really weird with their latest update, I doubt that mod is causing the issue you're having.
So I figured out my audio issue is not due to mods, it's something with the game itself.
Now the other issue is to fix it I have to delete the saved data and reload the mods.
But I have the Luxery home mod I paid for active but when I go to load a save it says I need to download it .. I just say no and go into the game and it crashes out of I. Ring up the decorate menu

For future reference, in anything that has placable data that makes a major impact like outposts and system mods, if you save your game with those in-place removing those mods from that save will break the save. This applies to a lot more than just outpost system mods.

Well currently I'm having an issue where the Audio goes away each time I start the game up, I have to do a delete saved data and redownload mods, but I have a mod load saved, but for some reason your Luxery home mod doesn't save to it. I don't know why

You can save your load order, so the mods in that load order get saved as they are .. so when I do a delete saved data in disabled all my mods or uninstalled them.
I hit restore load order and it redownload all mods in that load order, but some of them don't save ... I'm wondering if the Ini files update has something to do with it

I'll take a look next time I'm updating it. Some of the UC SysDef base actors seem to be hostile by default and then given faction membership later via quest or something, so I may have to try a few to see if any are fully non-hostile by default.

Anyone have any idea what would be required to eliminate the head-dip in 1st person when you use a boost pack? It's pleasant to boost around except for that jarring camera drop every boost. I recognize that it's somewhat realistic, but it's still not pleasant.

I could make one similar to the one I made for PS4/PS5 Skyrim, using a ForceRefTo>alias mechanism, but it'd require a bunch of manual effort to create and would only allow the player to choose from a list, and then I'd constantly be adding someone's requested name(s).
I'll eventually do it if no one else makes one, but I'd prefer to wait for someone to implement a better mechanism that allows the player to type in a name.

Hi there, I am planning an update to the Crew Command mod. to add repairmen. they would repair destroyed outpost objects destroyed during attacks.
do you think it would be better to have all the crew under the cleanup role also do the repair or to have a specialist? and to require that this specialist has a specific perk?

I had to add a second perk (interaction) to see my test fail miserably

Actually maybe it could be possible. If turrets that are craftable have a "snap point" of an image for example. Because images mount on walls. It would need to be figured how to put a turret on a wall correctly...

Thank you. Actually, this location is available to anyone. I recommend using LBGSHI's teleport ring and jumping to the Fortuna (Marco Graziani's ship). You can see that ship parked on the island under the planet. Once you're there, plant your pole and start building!

Yes its fixed, just make sure you dont have other mods which have the audio bug and haven't been updated. If you still dont regain sound, you may have to delete your Xbox mod data and install mods again as files can linger sometimes.

With horses your toes are still getting crushed, but also amputated by the steel toe plate if you wear them. Terrible idea.

Hey guys! How do I remove this in CK ? This happens every time I edit any perk. Even just by changing 2 letters in description. Basically cannot edit perks at all. Clicking ok pops up 10 more errors LOL?

I've brought up this issue before so I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record, but this is really confusing to me. I tried to create an overlay for a worldspace to add a new random POI to the game, I managed to add it and have it spawn with the command console, but the terrain doesn't match what I see in the CK editor, in fact, it's completely missing. Does someone know what's going on here?

Yep, as i said before, audio replacers are fully broken on console and semi-broken on PC
PC hasn't been an issue from all my testing, unless you are talking lip-sync.

Not lip-sync because it doesn't even exist currently. But having more than one audio replacer mod in the data folder with creations can lead to it not working, sometimes a restart is enough to fix it, sometimes it isn't

You would need to talk to an actual voice artist. From the more technical side of things (me being very much an amateur), I can provide a list of the voice lines along with the file name they would be replacing. The voice actress would record the files with something like Audacity and save them in a wav format.
From acting lessons i know breath out then speak. that creates a different voice. body posture is also important for the voice tone.
and methode acting is imagening a situation in once own past that fits to the characters situation to get the emotions on board.

The geometry bridge plugin says it exports physics data but then there is a issue on the github that asks for collision support so I don't know if it actually works.
Asset watcher does most the work for you but you have to use the 3ds max fbx exporter for asset watcher to work.
The FBX 3ds max plugin seems to be a combination of the regular fbx export and some custom BGS stuff in there. It for instance has a node structure that's human readable on export.

You should be able to get the ring to reappear in the box if you delete the mod, load your game, save, go download the mod again, and load your save.
Hello, I have discovered that the problem of the LOD textures not loading is due to a bad configuration that Bethini makes in the StarfieldCustom.ini, if this code is deleted the problem goes away.
What I don't understand is why Bethini generates this? What's the problem with deleting it?

No idea but maybe they are basegame perks that were in during testing but then got locked while the data is stil there or something? Even if you change one letter lol. Pick lasers perk, in description change lasers to laser and it will just throw a bunch of ID errors, for vanilla perk...
In xedit I never had problems with perks, i created a lot of them 7 months ago with no mod support, but somehow in CK, it becomes a mess LOL
I have no idea how this happened, but my current project esp apparently causes Starfield to stack overflow after I made an edit last night and CK to crash on load. When I take the esp out of the Data folder (or don't load it to CK), everything is fine. I'm trying to understand how a hab mod could possibly cause that.
Regardless, I'm starting over, which sucks cause that's like 10h of effort gone. On the bright side, I'm not trying to figure all of it out anymore - I know what I need to do and how.
And maybe I'll just avoid the thing I was trying last night

I had crashes on CK when loading an esm I created on xEdit from one of my mods because of the Terminal menu. Which is incompatible between those two editors.
One option for you (that I don't know if it works properly as I never used it) there is a converter mod on nexus that you could use to turn your esp into an esm and try and open/fix it on xEdit. Not sure I can post the mod here though, as it is not something officially supported

I have that issue as well, despite not even using Bethini or not having updated my Custom ini in months. I think it's just a bug that was introduced with the game in general. If it works for you when you delete whatever Bethini added, then it's likely something else that has fixed it.

Thanks! I wanted him to be a bit more effective in combat while still being balanced. Adding normal ranged attacks to his mesh seems to be something I can’t do at the moment, but I might try to add a zap like the security bots have.

The CK has always unearthed errors in base game files since Skyrim. Most of these errors are inconsequential for running the game, don't worry. 🙂

Concussive and Staggering are also pretty hilarious, and probably overpowered, but whatever 🙂
And I haven't tested it yet, but I'm pretty sure anything biological that has only one health bar will now die after five hits with any Lacerate weapon, after they finish bleeding out.
(which would always have been the case if you could get Lacerate to proc five times, but that was previously very unlikely or would take many hits to accomplish)
The main thing I'm interested in finding out now is how dangerous enemies that have weapons with these effects will now be. Some previously mundane boss encounters may be pretty interesting now.

I've considered that. I'll add it to my notes for the next update and take a look at what would be reasonable. Keep in mind that I'm staying away from modifying the base actors with this mod, so any fauna that is normally hostile would still be hostile.

after binging Invoker Gray vids last night I put together a quest mod with a few changes just using this as a mod to learn off of really (it just sends you to 3 random places to kill dudes and loot a chest)

Yeah, I was sad when I realized we couldn't reverse pickpocket any more (you got an achievement for doing it in Fallout) but the switch to live pickpocketing got rid of it.
