Essentially just know Iโve just being going on to the mod store each day to see if anyone has put anything up

I only use the Cheat Room for now with testing outfits after I download them. Once the Cheat Terminal comes out, Iโm running away with it into the sunset ๐
I use Cheat terminal on fallout really useful to test mods, and change how the character look.

@kindred stream Well because once you jump the unity you already have all the temples done feel like in your first ng+ they could have gave you the option to even locate all temples like you do with all artifacts feel like jumping from the eye to one temple to the eye and so on

I think the spaceship ammo has a bug, or a bug with another mod. My ammo went to zero and I had zero clue how to fix it ๐คฃ

The cool thing I like about starvival is that the ship section is optional. You donโt have to use it.

I enjoy the fact that I need to feed my character, make them drink, tend to my wounds. Fix my addiction if I get one. Ect. Feels more realistic.
Yeah definitely enjoy that. Feels like you get fully immersed into the universe. Makes you appreciate the finer details.
The economy system is awesome too. Make it to where things cost more and you gotta work more for the things you want

Yeah I watched a review last night. Guy said he would have to stop in planets to do repairs and find work.
After the expansions come out and other mods. The game is going to be a game that will go down in history as one of the absolute best. My personal opinion.

We will see what they do with it though. The game has a lot of potential but Bethesda is going to have to put in the work.
Brand new non procedurally generated planet is where we will be going for the first expansion that comes out this year

In the base game some of the stuff is procedurally generated instead of crafted traditionally. The shattered space expansion will be fully done from the traditional approach where all things are created by the team.

Its rather large because it makes cell eddits to add oxygen refule stations as well as the new aid items

Once a cheat terminal mod comes out it will be handled by that probably. Im sure someone is working on it. Getting tired of doing console commands and putting it into an easy to navigate menu

Its a core part of every load order, even if its just used to max crafting skills.
In skyrims cheat room i grab a few rings like the toggle collision ring and stuff and max out my smithing and give myself 11 perk points to max out the smithing perks
Then I play the games normally from there
Yeah, same. I use them for getting a headstart on some things every NG I start, usually... Which is often because I like to swap around my mod configuration so often. ๐ ๐
But they're also handy in the case of nabbing back an item you accidentally sold to a vendor, like I did earlier this morning. ๐ค
They are also great tools for mod testing to stabilize your load order before getting into a real playthrough

You'd need CCR for that, but I'd say it's doable.
There is a mod for PC where your powers automatically level up with each NG+ run you do, which I use. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I don't think it's something that would be doable with CK, unfortunately.
Then again, I could be entirely wrong, since I'm very, very inexperienced with CK thus far.
My current planned character is this. Im planning her out and testing mods on my scuffed lvl 100 cheated save
Most I've done is picking back up an old pre-CK mod and converting it to a CK mod, then adding LL integration and quality tiers to it.
A take prisoner type. I even got the mods to let you take prisoners

my Starfield still doesn't load loose files from the Starfield/Data folder. It only loads them from My Games/Starfield/Data.

Do you do vortex or manual installation?
Afaik, vortex creates a link between the two, which fixes the data folder for loose files. I've never seen it anywhere where it was patched in the base game.

Indeed. Theenco makes some nice stuff. There's another mod author (zone79, I believe) who makes some cool looking spacesuits too tbh, with my favorite he's done being The Nomad spacesuit set. When I'm not rocking my bronze starborn suit, I'm usually rocking a set from The Nomad. ๐

I do not understand why bethesdas new UI loves to scramble your load order
Looks like a lot of my stuff is relatively in the right places but its because of bethesda scrambling my LO that i haven't played Skyrim in months. I really just do not feel like fixing something I didn't even break
Well, on PC, it doesn't just scramble your load order, but also adds in an extra step to have to go in and enable every new mod, now, after already enabling it outside of the game. ๐
Press start and select enable all creations and then exit the menu

Way better then trying to sort through like 200 mods and reorginize them every time they UI decides it doesnt like where your things are and scrambles it

Same. My guy wears it due to the heavy scarring on his face from a previous Universe scuffle with The Hunter, prior to becoming Starborn. Thanks to that, he has and will always have a personal vendetta against The Hunter.

Has anyone else encountered shadow/texture issues with the Nomad spacesuit/armor mod? I've messed around with my load order with no success, I really only have 2 mods that effect lighting and shadows. Pitch Black Nights and one that removes the colour filters. I've tried putting them above and below the Nomad mod but nothing changes. This odd shadowing(zebra print) still starts and doesn't stop unless I shut the game down and boot back up and even then it's a temporary fix cause the issue will happen again at some point.

unfortunately, the person developing StarUI has long since abandoned their UI mods (for the time being, iirc.... they may be returning after updating FallUI for FO4, if I remember) and some of the UI mods, like StarUI Shipbuilder and StarUI HUD are broken right now.
there are workarounds made for both, but they aren't ideal in any way and it just sucks.

Figured out how to make a loot rarity gameplay option!!!!
It is convulted as all hell though.
You need one main leveled list that contains leveled lists for each gameplay option setting. Each of those has a condition that checks the gameplay option. And those are how you control how much loot is spawned. You can't reduce this way so you have to lower everything's baseline and set the middle option to what it should be normally.

StarUI shipbuilder broke, primarily because of the empty variants of the base game habs when interior decorating was fully implemented for ships, and StarUI HUD broke for some reason I dont recall, but youll get a couple of bugs like not being able to interact with things or pick up items and double inventory menus, etc.

Just Testing some mods, I like the Mandalorian one, but My character is famale, but the fact that i had to fight army of pirates to get to them was fun. Also I test 2 UI mods, one add names to the planets in the map, the other remove things from the user interface. Definitely possible. They implemented sanity in frost for fallout 4. You can create afflictions for the player and trigger them with scripts. Basically just create a quest to manage it and you can trigger certain things with so many battles like PTSD or something lol
Have you tried disabling all mods. Existing to Home Screen and quit. Reopen and reenable them and check to see if the audio is still messed

When I search the text of the container name in CK I get 3 results of each of the containers (small medium & large) but when I change the carry weight the mass doesnโt update so Iโm not sure if Iโm editing the right containers even though the correct nif appears in the window. Ive just taken a look at the cargo parts now trying to locate the biggest option that fills an entire 1x1 and its the "Galleon S203 Cargo Hold" which holds 1200 Cargo, so maybe use that as a refrence. So if i got a 3x3x1 cargo hall then that should hold 10,800

Should be possible. Each NPC has an inventory and maybe have it so:
If NPC is a crew member - "Lets Trade" then open their inventory like you can do with followers
It is possible but using zone79's EIT mod makes me wish I could set multiple uniforms for my crew to use at random

Try take a look at the scripts from Amazing Follower Tweaks for skyrim. They had options to set an outfit depending if the follower was "at home" & "dismissed" & "following". Then try to replicate it

have you found a way to use enhance! without activating them? apparently the game unequips and equips them during character change. I tried taking them off first, but that also activates one of them
I've never even used Enhance! lol.
Could you just unequip them before using Enhance! ? You don't need to leave them equipped, just equip then unequip in the menu all in one go, and your activator will appear.
unequipping them drops a "build" button
so does dropping them.
Not sure what you mean. What I always do (and what the mod description tells you to do) is go into my equipment menu, equip and unequip, then exit the menu and I have one activator.

Ah. Yeah, I took a look through the creations menu after asking that question and because I avoided the paid weapon mods (better ones on the Nexus, especially for the blacked out drumbeat [I basically downloaded one that makes all of the weapons blacked out, instead of just one weapon]), that's why I didn't recognize the mod you guys were referring to.
Still waiting for all of the good weapon mods to become creations though definitely excited to see more come out, especially more Habs from Elinora. ๐
This was the best compromise I could come up with to gracefully incorporate existing in-game functionality to reduce the chances of weird side effects. Testing shows this doesn't cause any issues with existing quests for temples, and any temples visited just pretend to level a given power but since it's maxed, nothing happens or changes. I haven't tried this from a new game all the way through, so let me know if anything weird happens along the way.

Its all good now. When i make new saves i run it on PC and inject a DLL to remove 2 bytes that flag the save as modded, give myself level, perks, items, all powers NG+100 and "PlayerKnowsX 1" then i start playing

I like to stick to the platform I use to play and test, and keep things simple. I also figure most or all of my mods aren't necessary to PC players, who have in-game console access anyway. Further, all my mods use zero external assets, in case Bethesda ever releases on PS5 (all my mods will work there immediately; I try to support my PS brothers and sisters, since that's where I came from on Skyrim and FO4, and I feel their pain ๐ ).
Been asked to make more Starborn Guardians so might tie in well with it

From what I recall, the mod changes the temples in that they no longer grant the next levels of the powers. Those are granted on each new game. However, the temples now grant a varying amount of quantum essence or whatever the thingy is that recharges your starborn powers faster.
i never knew what the quantum did tbh, even now ive just got a mod that makes it so it doesnt user any power

You have a greeting and a dialogue response at the same time on phase 1, move the dialogue response to phase 2. Drag and drop and then look at the dialogue and make sure the flowchart is going to the right phase for your loop.
Greetings are conditioned now or they do not start. You can condition with the actor being a specific actor or with a quest stage being complete.
Look at how other dialogue quests are started.

My load order is stuck on reloading after installing stellar armory: galactic gear expansion it originally froze my Xbox when first installing it when I rebooted it was installed and now my load order it just stuck on reloading and I canโt even open any of my saved games they just continuously load any ideas?

Does anyone else's Creations menu constantly say reloading? It won't let me download anything. Says it's game data is still being loaded. It's gone on for a while now.
I haven't had that issue, but if you're using Steam, maybe try exiting the game and re-validating the game files before loading back in?

Encountered a brand new bug caused by an unknown mod conflict, upon restarting the game either normally or after a crash the language is changed to Chinese, disabling all Creations and restarting the game fixes it but it's still bizarre
No clue which mods are causing it unless I individually go through every single mod trying to find the culprit

That bug also exists and to fix that you have to do a temporary fix, Go to creations, options, disable all creations (no need to uninstall them) restart the game, enable them, load game and the audio should be fixed. Creations has a really bad bug with loading mods on restart with Xbox, nobody knows what's causing it to conflict with mods that have nothing to do with audio either
Yeah that's how I fix both issues, unless there's a hotfix or the mod authors fix something I'm probably going to be stuck with it, these conflicts seem to be way more common than they should be it's frustrating
Audio bug is unfixable currently mod side, the files are clean. Works fine on PC and doesn't include audio in like all the files that have the bug. Bethesda are aware of this

For that specific bug with audio yes, a similar bug has happened before with the creation engine
Ah... Well great, a workaround I've found is to just disable all Creations before quitting out of Starfield, yes it adds an extra step having to re-enable creations before you can play but it prevents the issue from happening unless the game crashes
It's so weird how it works but once you restart it doesn't ๐, if it was the mod causing the issue it would mess the audio up first time
I'm getting increasingly more wary about downloading certain mods, such as Starborn Followers which sounded amazing but upon downloading I got stuck with the infinite reloading bug...
Honestly as of right now, creations is very buggy on Xbox. Most people are just waiting for a patch. 95% of mods work fine on PC
Couple of factors too that, a bunch of the modders are totally new to the CK system. Ontop not only the new ones are having trouble the older modders that came from Fo and ES also got to learn with a whole lot of new functionality to the kit with no documentation at all.
If only Bethesda provided an official load order guide that doesn't require a PhD in programming to understand everything, I haven't been able to find a guide that is just simple "this goes there, weapons go here etc." they're always so complicated
I was provided a spreadsheet that was kind of easy to understand and definitely helped my game but I still struggled figuring out where certain mods went
You get some information from the FO4 clone:
My general rule for that is the more impactfull a mod and the deeper it goes into the main files the higher up it needs togo in order to be loaded first while loads are low. Stuff like the Darkstar mod are prety much in the top 5 for me. Then there is simple stuff like that add a weapon or do something with clothing that goes in mid range. Then lastly i use the cheatish kind of mods as i often put those last unless i notice they are not functioning on the spot of the current load order

Yes. Create an FBX and convert it with Asset Watcher that is included with the Creation Kit download. I am not a 3D artist so that is all I know. Hopefully we'll have a tutorial for it.

Depends on server load. Each creation has to itinerate through all languages the website supports. It's taken up to two hours for FO4 a couple times on busy weekends. With as many people uploading and downloading creations right now, I'm surprised there's not more yelling that it's taking a while to upload.

In particular, AI generated art actually pulls examples of real existing art from artists and uses that as it's reference to generate "new art" sometimes... it doesn't change an image enough to where it isn't considered plagerism. There's a whole lot of nuance to that but that's the gist of issues with using AI art.
Irony of using AI or procedural generated content in game and having rules against generated content is an interesting ruleset but it's people's livelihoods at stake and lots of strong opinions on it, plenty of people were against cars when they were first invented, all things take time to be adopted and accepted as the norm. AI will probably replace us all eventually.

You can have the two saves but the game won't disable mods for you on the unmodded one. You'll have to do that.
Most of my gamer score came from Xbox 360. I haven't bothered with achievements except for Cyberpunk but got bored with it half way to the ending.

The most irritating one i picked up that spoiled an ending was the one for Gears 3 with a character death. They're terrible for spoilers. :/

Haven't really looked too much into those. I was one of those people who looked at the patch notes over the last 8 months and saw all the bug fixes for quests and such and I was like "oh ok cool, didn't experience that but neat!" It seems like the Community Patch may be the way to go but I haven't had time to look at the changelog.

Is zone79 a member? Been trying to get their Nomad spacesuit/armor to cooperate with little success, I keep getting these odd shadows. I've messed around with my load order with no success. I've tried putting the mod above and below the 2 mods I'm using that effect lighting and shadows and still no change. The only way to stop the odd shadows is to shut the game down and then boot back up or sometimes just passing through a load screen fixes it BUT the issue will happen again at some point during that session.
The 2 mods I'm using that effect lighting and shadows are Pitch Black Nights and the colour filter remover, I'm on Xbox.
some others have found it so I don't think it's from enabling a mod at least

the texture and glow change during the day, so perhaps it's intentional just uncommon. id imagine a bugged texture wouldn't change with sunrise

I looked at/messed with my load order again and I'm running Pitch Black Nights, Colour filter remover and Vanilla Flashlight Improved.
I just cannot for the life of me figure out an order where that shadow thing doesn't happen. Right now I have the colour filter mod at the bottom cause the author suggest to do so, Pitch Black Nights and Vanilla Flashlight are above Nomad in my order.

It wasn't my mod. The report I had about it came from someone thrashing about, testing with broken saves and not realising that you can't fix broken saves by removing mods.

That was definitely an idea I was thinking about actually but in the stretch goals. I want to get base functionality first before adding actual quests to it ๐
For now the main goal is to get a banking system that can deposit/withdraw credits, a stock market you can buy and sell stocks in (and it will fluctate depending on quests and npcs dying like in Stock Market of Skyrim), a loan system where you can take out loans and then pay them off over time and if you default GalBank will send bounty hunters after you until it is paid.
Then there's the rent/mortgage system which is another stretch goal but I want to add the ability to rent out houses you own or to rent buildings such as your own shop sorta like the market stall mod in skyrim.
I'm Chunky Chicc on Xbox and discord so that works. And the capitalization is just crucial to my OCD โบ๏ธ
