I used this mod for each constellation member, it let me remove their default outfit from inventory which forces them to always wear assigned armor
Skully's replacer for sarah comes with the ability to remove all of sarahs gear, to activate the secondary mod, talk to sarah and ask her to follow and then trade. Let Skully know on nexus if there is an issue as they dont have an xbox for testing. Mod conflicts may result in bald head, this is being looked into,if you find a mod that conflicts...

It should, This is a NG+ new game but Unloaded the mod up after the NG+ and Sarah already had her Spartan armor.

I added a new master file attached to the mod. Usually its just Starfield.esm, but the ones that work for me have Blueprint-ships.esm master too. So gonna try add that and see if it changes anything. That is the only difference with the files

They both just use in-game files, nothing added just things changed around

Hello everyone. Is there a Load Order guide available for Starfield mods on Xbox Series X? Also do we have to follow the same rules as Skyrim and Fallout when downloading mods, like hard resetting after each downloaded mod?
morphs are buggy and with Starfield they seems to be annoying as hell
I usually keep all replacers, weathers at the top and anything that alters gameplay under.
Anything else (armours, guns, outfits etc) is underneath, moving up and down if something doesn’t work till it does. Trial and error.
When it comes to downloading, I always restart the game just to prevent the game from freezing on me and losing time between saves

Do I have to use xedit to create references to textures for workbench skin? Can this be done directly in CK? I don't want to replace default just add the option of the skin. So I've been using Wondrous Weightlessness [Ship Cargo Edition] but no matter what I do that mod keeps moving to the bottom of my LO. None of the normal fixes for mods moving seem to work.

It's bugged. When you empty a magazine you get a message that says "You cannot equip this item" and it just resets the magazine capacity.....so looks like we won't be getting an ammo magazine mod for starfield unless someone makes an SFSE mod for it

Hi everyone. For xbox series x starfield, can someone please make a mod that allows you to create lightsabers(from star wars)? The lack of lightsaber mods is the only reason why I have not downloaded any of the "xbox series x starfield" star wars mods.

The new Ship cockpit fromDerretech doesn't load the 10k credits from the Infinite credit mod so I have to manually deposit crsdits back in

I indefinitely plan on it. Though I might be better to wait as it is somewhat of a hassle you use. You have to do a whole bunch of in-game workarounds to not crash your game or corrupt files

Well for my ship weapons use ammo mod I'm looking at adding three:
- Ship ammunition cost
- Ship ammunition in vendor inventories
- Ship ammunition in loot drops

Question for someone/anyone in regards to the “Star Wars Melee Weapon Replacer” Mod.
So the new names for the Weapon shows up, but the re-texture doesn’t show the new visuals.
It’s also the 4th lowest in my LO. Where would I put it to activate it?
It’s basically at the end of my Texture placement
Generally if something isn't working, put it as low as possible to test and work it's way up if you aren't otherwise sure what is overwriting it
Also if you just activated it you might just need to turn the console off and back on again

when given a hard location player home.
A one that is pre-decorated
B one that is empty for you to decorate
C one that is lightly decorated but mostly empty
Ideally B, but C is always a nice option if provided.
in my onion, the answer depends on the size of the facility
lets say it base sized
For me personally “C”. I’d like to have the bare minimum/basics, the spice it up
Having some basic stuff help guide themes around is helpful
C if it's base sized
knowing which is the kitchen/bathroom instead of full on empty rooms
I'll give an exampl
I had previously decorated the akila player home but when I saw someone predecorated it via creation kit I downloaded that. It looked better than what I could do in game, more unique items etc

Update: I figured out you can not use this if your outpost is on Porrima 2 prob has to do with orbital colony ship. went to a moon next to it and panel is working properly. now.

Well it should fairly testable. And given that Skyrim's mod cap has changed over time, it's possible they might plan to increase the cap over time to test for stability if there is one
I think there may be some confusion on what the "mod cap" vs "file handles" is here. File handles is more than likely what you're thinking of for Skyrim since Skyrim has only the usual 255 max on regular mods, plus 4096 for ESL mods (in theory).
I doubt very much 110 mods is enough to trip the file handles in Starfield unless something is very very wrong in the code. I'd just be highly skeptical of reddit being the only place this claim is being made.

Im playing on xbox when it comes to mods do they update automatically or will you have to update them yourself? Also is there anything special you have to do to make sure the update works in game? I see some mods say that you need to uninstall and reinstall the mod for the update to properly work.

Yes; if they were destructible, the objects you used them to create would be impossible to move/scrap afterward. Each switch/button creates a new build/decorate "zone", and only that switch can manage it (built-in game behavior).
If I allowed destruction, I'm concerned people would accidentally destroy their switches/buttons and then lose control of the objects they built them with. They could add a new switch/button and keep building/decorating, but the earlier objects would be there forever.
I suppose I could give them destruction data and a massive amount of HP, then bundle the rings with a cheat knife that does max damage that you could use to destroy the switches/buttons if you were absolutely sure you were done decorating...do people want that?

The aliens mod edits the NPCs. They're probably not going to be compatible with anything else without a compatibility patch.

Watch for the end it will state if it had to find missing files.

In the description I noticed it says "replaces 9 vanilla weapons". So if you download another mod that does similar replacing of weapons, it will cause conflict and the game might have some issues.

Did you restart the game before loading in with the mods? I found that not doing so causes some weirdness with mods in general at times

I’m not going to lie. The options for Buildings for outpost building seems really bland and limited. My outposts look so dull. I feel like we need the ability to craft damn near any building that is procedurally generated in the game

basically, the class m habs are just shells to put smaller habs in, but the issue with that is, they m hab shells are extremely finicky and picky with the habs placed inside of them.

Pretty sure you can save load orders right?
So I figured out how to give weapons a charging mode like the Novablast or Magsniper, as a craftable mod. Everything works except the sound - normal firing sounds get a little messed up, and there's no sound effect for charging up. It looks like the Novablast and Magsniper use an Animation Tag Set which sets up the sound effects and how they play, but that doesn't seem to exist for most other weapons and I'm not even sure it's a property I can change with omods. What can I do to add charging sound effects to weapons?
I downloaded it and the models appear but the sounds are bugged

Bethesda tests it, no problem. Let’s say their Xbox is set up for the US.

At this time I don't think there are any tools to clean saves
Honestly I have absolutely no clue. I only know how to clear my cache by a hard restart. Dont think I can see the actual cache files or whatnot

Had starvival installed to start a new game when I got into space I couldn't power my engine. Somehow all the fuel got used up on takeoff. Then I had to win the first space fight while stationary.... also had a weird thing where all the ammo I used showed up as cargo pods obscuring my view in the dog fight. On the bright side I could literally recover my spent ammunition which came in handy since with my obscurrd view I missed a lot and burned through my ammo. Love the potential of the mod though. Gonna tinker with load orders next weekend and see if I can get better results. Really wanted to get the experience of building out my own space exploration infrastructure
When you say you can’t load your save, does it pop up with a message or is the load file just greyed out?
For the ammo spawning when shooting, uninstall/disable StarSim Mining Conglomerate. It happens with my ship weapons use ammo mod as well

They said after applying certain mods it turned his game and sfx audio to 0? That would be why you hear certain sounds but not others. Please be a fix
Check the ingame sound after restart with any of the bugged mods and see if the sound changed in Starfield

I wondering if someone can elaborate on something for me please.
Im going to be doing an overhaul to all the ships parts, Vanilla and M-Class. So im looking at the parts and say a companionway 1x1 is 5 mass & 5 hull. So the 5 hull is the health of the ship right. But what exactly is it equivelent to? 5HP? So if my ship had a Hull of 1241 then that would mean my ships total HP would be 1241?
Downloaded Custom, restarted the game and the sound has gone but my settings are still the same
Try changing the sound up and down, or messing with them audio settings to see if the audio kicks back in. Also isn't there a xbox sound thing when holding in the xbox button on game, make sure that sound slider is correct too
Moved each volume bar up and down on Starfield, no difference.
When you press the Xbox button on controller, you get sound from the dashboard. Literally the game is silent only, except for when you enter the Creations title

It’s almost like the Creations tab just overwrites or removes all sound in the game.

Probably because the echo is a different type of sound effect than the actualy gun intial sound. Pointing more to the idea that certain sounds are being lowered or disabled

The sound is all over the place, but I wonder why certain mods trigger than issue more than others
If I remember right the "fix" , lower all the vulume settings save, turn of the console, turn on the console, load the save and put the audio setting and put the settings back to normal.
But why isn’t the sound of the Creations tab never affected? It’s literally everything else.

@stuck merlin had a similar issue yesterday trying to convert the regulator to a laser pistol, but no matter what the attack sound was changed to you could hear the normal regulator shot over/through the selected sound, still trying to figure it out.
It’s almost like each item has two sounds.
The initial sound (that creations throws away) then an echo which remains.. on certain things. NPC footsteps, gun sounds in a closed cell blabla
From what i've read this issue has happened before in old versions of Starfield with the sound going "Underwater" like sounding muffled and it seems to be back again but now with creations triggering it

this was 7 months ago, someone posted this: I just experienced this audio glitch on my Xbox series x. It happened just after a space battle, the scored music was unaffected but any dialogue was unintelligible, like underwater, and I couldn't hear rifle shots or footsteps.

We’ve tested almost every possible route I imagine mate.
I searched on Reddit, found some old posts but nothing with the exact issue as ours.
One person said they had an issue with sound and the only way they could find a fix was using a new TV and new HDMI lead 😅

Yeah a lot of people is because of hardware, but this exact sound bug, the same effects did happen in previous patches but was fixed. Its game related because the sound works fine for them on other games

i found out bards outpost beacon works with build anywhere, so I built a path through a usually restricted area for outposts to link the akila city side gate over to my actual outpost. if that makes any sense

Hmm, thanks for letting me know. Making a mod to rebalance all the ship parts because it doesnt make sense that a 1x1 companionway has the same hull and mass as a 3x2 battlestation so kinda wanna know everything i can about the system before i make changes
