Unfortunately yeah those cause that issue . Id disable them and restart your game. That should fix it. There's workarounds but they can be tedious

But I can use them and have audio. But I have to disable mods and then restart the game. Audio comes back, then load the mod again. But it takes 2 minutes of every start

Mine runs fine with 3gbs worth of mods just make sure your LO is up to par otherwise the LO demon will hunt you down

honestly no idea mate, I was just given permission to port the mod from pc to xbox, that is a good question for the creator. I haven't done a ton of testing outside of jsut getting a feel for how it works on PC then trying to ensure it hsa the same feel on xbox

the biggest problem is I'm pretty sure this mod was made mostly using xEdit so it's a bit diffcult to change/adjust thigns in CK
Most halo armor mods dont go beyond Reach. Even the halo pack in Fallout 4 only included some Halo 4 and 5 stuff and mostly stuck to reach and before

I haven't messed around with a ton of armor mods for SF but the halo one is crafted in the Indrustial bench and modiffied on the armor bench

And most of them add many many items to the industrial bench. Not the benches fault at all. Its just the lack of classic categories that were in fallouts chem bench thats killing me here. I cant scroll down through the industrial bench and find "halo armors" and click that before doing all that. Then doing the same with rhe other armors i got. And even if some one did make catigories, cuz some one did, it needs to be supported by mod authors / porters

One of the first mods ported was a mod that added categories to the industrial workbench. But nothing but vanilla items support it rn
ah well if it's a simple thing I might try and add it to the halo mod but if it's a bigger undertaking it'll have to be the mod creator that implements it

Trying to make the new Gravis suit modular (separate suit and helmet). Neck is part of the upper body rather than helmet, so using helmet with another suit resulted in invisible neck as seen in picture 1. Tried to add neck to helmet in Blender, but every export was invisible despite several hours of gracious help last night from someone who actually knows Blender. Opted to duplicate upper body Armor Addon and set duplicate to Body rather than SS Body. Kit bashed onto helmet and it worked (as seen in picture 2. Perfect except now I'm stuck with the shoulder pads as seen in picture 3. Any ideas (preferably not involving Blender lol) would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that can be an issue depending on location. You may have to walk around the place until you find somewhere that lets you build on the "floor" instead of under it. Or, that place may just be bad for this use case in general for some reason or another.

Yeah, it will always generate a new one when you equip a ring. So, just keep using the old one. And, generally, no need to keep a ring on, just equip and unequip in the same menu.

Are you doing this through script or changing them explicitly in the CK? Normally these are changed through papyrus (GetValue, SetValue, ModValue). If you having problems keeping values "updated" you can try making a "'maintenance" script: https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/OnPlayerLoadGame_-_Actor (but replace OnInit with OnQuestStarted() for the quest and OnAliasStarted() for the alias.)

Ohh ive got the hang of it now. Ive taken ideas from the source scripts to understand things better. But the scripts ive made do no change the default ones and are their own file.
There is still certain things with scripts i need to get the hang of but probably be better off waiting until the docs release before i get into complex stuff. But after looking at the Skyrim & FO4 ones, FO4 is the closest to Starfield and looking at those have helped me understand it quite abit tbh.
The one problem i had trouble with was getting around setting ActorValues for existing saves. So I wanted to remove the Outpost Building Limit (it was in an ini file before) and then the Outpost Buildable Radius was changed in the CK (that works for new saves and existing) but for the Outpost Max Limits themselves. Since its an ActorValue it didnt work for existing saves so i attempted to change the Perk "Planetary Hospitality" Increasing the max outposts with each rank which worked if you didnt already have the perks unlocked and the script just work as your normally would with upgrading the perks but i wanted to make it also work for existing saves so i tried to make a script that detected the quest stage of the player on PlayerSkills and then run a script accordingly to their quest stage aka rank level but tbh i just couldnt figure it out. So ive now redone it and just thrown both those options into a script that enables onPlayerLoadGame incase they do something that changes their AV and can just reload the save to get it back

I did experience lighting issues when i had added mods on the first day of creations. Like... in conversations it all would be verry dark. Had to mess around with gpu settings and load order before it got back too normal

Gameplay changing mods like companion mods and stat mods are affecting the game in a deeper level then a simple change of meshes on some piece of clothing. The deeper a mod goes into the gamefiles the higher up it needs to be in the load order

I have a question that I hope someone here knows - is familiar with. Starfield Creations. I know that if we have Vortex or MO2 then Starfield will control the plugins TXT file. But If someone never used mods and opens Steam then Starfield - uses Creations - how is that managed? on the Bethesda net ? or creates some txt file on the account in the Creations folder - which is blank on my Starfield folder ? I ask because - I see very little info currently. This seems important to know.

It manages my Plugins,.txt on my steam. I have MO2. It has another naming convention which I have shown to people. They noticed it when they started using Creations.

@stuck merlin Y’know what would be cool, an AI within our ship. Didn’t Mass Effect have that and if I’m not mistaken, ||Juno|| in Starfield is an AI.
So no actual physical body, but a voice within our ship. Although we wouldn’t necessarily have any reason for it, it would definitely give us immersion.
Interesting facts of certain planets, fun little remarks on what we’re doing, and it could be the dialogue of when we’re in ship battles and lose certain systems (gravdrive being disabled etc)
Could make it lore that it’s an experimental AI that was discontinued during the Colony War that we find in a derelict POI or Starstation.

It's simple if your mod is small make it a small master, if you try to compact the files and it tell you your mod is to big, make it a medium.
If you plan to update and expland make a full master
Take note - if you make a small of medium, then update to a larger size game saves should not be updated

Oof my immediate impression is that I'm effectively locked out of working on this until I get a job because I don't have enough RAM for this to not be incredibly painful
So too edit habs:
- load up your SF file
- In the Object Window search Hab under packins.
- Select a hab with the _int and right click it, duplicate it,
- select the duplicate and right click it edit in render window
- Also just open the edit window for that int packin so you can see what is in it.

but as for helping with making a gun mod standalone, I am not familiar with blender much. but I know of someone who does and may be able to work between the three of us to make the weapon mod standalone. :) no promises though. XD
Y’know what would be a cool mod? Is when you shoot someone in the space helmet on a non breathable planet, their head explodes inside the helmet because the air is literally sucked out of their body
or just having heads explode into chunks like in the fallout series, in general. XD

i definitely do... the guns are fun to use half of the time, but those large caliber ones like the Hard Target or Magsniper feels like they should be causing a lot more bodily hard than they appear to. 😭

I have the Legendary Perk Recycler mod so I can almost make any combination of perks I want.
So would having two armor items with that perk stack? (I'm not fussed about how much less weapons would weigh, only that I get the additional bonus of having that perk twice)

I just figured out how to make Constellation members wear the Halo armor always... I used the skully Mod for each one and it let me remove their outfits
Who ever made the UC Clone wars armor overhaul for Xbox may wana go in look at your mod right now none of the armor is showing up around Uc systems and all the guards don’t have the clone armor on so yeah
it works just fine for me, have a look over your LO. i had to fix mine 3 times till i got it right

As long as the mod doesnt use scripts, assets etc etc then (anything in your PCs .bsa2 file then an archive isnt needed
