Does anybody have a fave joker or tarot card?

On the base game settings, my general goal is always to get a good money maker, a good chip builder, a good Mult adder, and then a good Mult multiplier

Delayed Gratification and Banner are a good money/chip builder combination for earlier antes. Ramen is a good Mult multiplier to use with them because they're all oriented around not using discards.

Rocket is great after you've beaten a couple of Bosses

Love Supernova and Card Sharp in combination if you're sticking to a particular hand type for an entire game

Constellation is another favourite Mult multiplier

Space Joker is a great early one to get because you can level up hand types really fast with some luck

The thing is going to be that you never really know what Jokers you're going to end up getting as you go, so you have to have different tactics for different combinations you might end up with.

Like if I end up with Space Joker and Half Jokers I'm going to really target Three of a Kind — because that hand levels up (more chips and more Mult) really nicely with each upgrade

But if I get Four Fingers or Smeared Joker or Shortcut then I'm definitely going to target Straights or Flushes

And with each tactic, you'll be left vulnerable to a particular Boss Blind, so make sure you can buy the voucher that lets you spend money to re-randomise Boss Blinds

it just balances your chips and mult when calculating score for played hand x2 base blind size

If you score 100 chips and 2 Mult, it’ll balance it to 50 chips and 50 Mult
The base blind size means it’ll start with 600 as the ante 1 small blinds rather than 300

Finally fucking caught onto the fact that if you have the Photograph joker, you should move your face cards to the end of your played hand, so that any Mult cards or lucky cards can trigger before it

one thing I just learned: buffing cards (by applying an enhancement) removes the debuff.
Even if you're playing a boss blind that says "clubs are debuffed", if you use a tarot card to turn a club card into a bonus card or a plus mult card or whatever, it will no longer be debuffed.

but really, spectal with ouija early, turned 10ish cards into queens, then did a four of a kind build and took every glass i could, got another spectral and made a glass one red seal, then through arcana managed to clone that 3-4 times. then it was just discards until i had 4 queens

one blind was face cards debuffed which was tight, but some steel cards saved me to bumo the mult
