I don't really get the criticism that the cast already know each other, because largely they have no idea who each other is. Sure, two people from Survivor might have filmed something a few years ago together, and three people from Big Brother might have heard of each other, but most of the contestants have no idea who most of the rest are. The problem is that it's an all or nothing game for everyone but especially the traitors. If you leave you're completely out of the running. It would be interesting to have a traitor character that could still have a share in the winnings even if they get eliminated. That might lead to more openly "evil" actions and more sabotage of the Faithfuls
But it's tough to say, the game's a fairly simple formula, they might not want to mess with it
