#If user requests a season all future seasons monitored as well
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Any info on this?
When a new season is released, sonarr adds the "Monitored" status to it, that's why.
If you don't want future seasons to be monitored, you can set the series' monitoring settings to "No new seasons" but that's not something seerr does by default when a user requests a season

we dont have that option hardcoded. We never used it before
Just wait till this pull request gets merged for that feature to be available
Awesome. It seems like it should default to No New Seasons to take full advantage of the request by seasons feature.
I'm still running Overseerr, will this apply to that or do I need to migrate over to Jellyseerr?
No. The default will be kept to all as thats the default when adding a new series in sonarr as well as to not break current existing instances
This will be in seerr.
There will be no overseerr or jellyseerr.
