#Using one *arr server with two instances in Overseerr

I recently combined my *arr servers from two separate anime and non-anime instances. However I am having issues trying to get Overseerr to work well with this change. I have created two servers in Overseerr with different tags and different root folder, but when users try requesting a show, they can't select which instance does it go to and it will always select only one. I myself as owner am able to see both of these when requesting however.

I asked a similar sort of question here: #1092481620927332362 message

For TV shows, assuming you have 2 root folders set up in Sonarr (1 for regular and 1 for anime) you should be able to configures Overseerr o it automatically puts anime shows in the correct folder.

#

For movies it sounds like you have to give your users advanced request permissions.

I think this may have been what I needed. The problem with the first option is that a lot of shows are not marked as “anime”.

To circumvent the shows that are not tagged as anime

#

Ik not a solution through overseerr but

#

Another solution would be to manually mark the ones that are not on tmdb itself

If there is a solution, I don't mind if it's not directly through overseerr. Although it would be preferred. :) Thanks, I will review it

Recently added a docker version so setting up should be as easy as just docker building it c:

I'll upload an image later

Would this affect the tags as well? Since I use tags for specific indexers. The README doesn't mention any of it

Or radarr tags?

Both

It should only affect the rootfolder

#

Whatever default tag you have set should remain as is

Then it may not be a solution for me, I'll probably stick with the advanced requests

Also I think we should discuss this in offtopic because its not exactly overseerr

To it

#

Since what it basically does is just edit the request automatically and changes rootfolder. Someone already edited the script to change to multiple sonarr instances and qualities as well

Same way tags can be added c:
