Sadly for you, you won't be able to get refunded. Unless I lack info about the weapons and armors (which I don't know much about tbh), the skins are still exclusives, even the Aelion Throne Watcher one.

It's more a question of "direspecting" the founders by reducing the prestige of those who bought it (by releasing the recolor of Aelion), which is definitely bad, but isn't illegal.

Aelion the Throne Watcher is an exclusive skin, the "model" doesn't define what a skin is... It's still different, product wise. One of the CMs (worst censorship ever lol) made the error of saying that there won't be any recolor, while this shouldn't have been done, this was a very unofficial statement on a discussion channel, on a specific social media. This message didn't age well and made us lie to those who've read it but didn't change anything to the original statement saying that Aelion Throne Watcher is exclusive.

I don't really know what to reply, as you mentioned the "prestige" factor is quite subjective, and I wouldn't agree on the fact that the "model" has been stated as exclusive. To me the prestige hasn't been reduced to 0 as the original Aelion is still a proof of being a founder, still a better looking skin and very recognisable... But its model is not unique anymore, which is disrespectful for you guys.
If it was stated that the model was exclusive then yes, this would have been false advertisement but AFAIK the word was always "skin".

I just hope for the team to come up with something for you guys but I wouldn't be counting too much on a refund. And don't worry I understand the feeling and I'm not trying to tell you to be quiet or anything, just making sure those who read your message have the most information they can.

Lies. It is illegal. They never said it wouldn't be recolored in official statements, thus leaving it as stated exclusive and never clarifying on that a recolor was in the works was misleading. A misguiding practice is just as illegal and is considered false advertisement.

If you do sue be careful because there is such a thing as a counter suing and it will fuck you over. Video games are tricky to sue as they won't see it as a viable case if it doesn't cause you personal damage. Its a lot to explain 😅

Paywing has done multiple illegal shit. The weapons and armor they resold from the same pack I have saved as well. Plus there's the bullshit transactions on gems they had previously, where packs were shown on discount but when the math was done the final discount wasn't true to the numbers.

Judges can't ignore a company robbing folks of money at the expense of their own pockets.

That's cause for the judge to get backlash.

Even if I don't sue, I will constantly report them until something is done.

I will call FTC until the law gets on them. I will press report on steam until the game is locked.

Unless they refund Fakelieon, remove it from accounts and the game, and never do that bullshit again.

They won't do that, trust me. That Aelion made them money so the higher ups aren't going to listen to complaints. As long as it makes them money. It sucks I know. They'll most likely pump out another Aelion model with another skin in the future. The best thing I cantell you is to stop playing the game. A lack of numbers could make an impact. But even then money does make the world ground than integrity.

I'm not butthurt. I understand that some people are rightfully angry that this new skin of Aelion has devalued their founders one, but legally I'm not sure how far you can stretch that if at all.

One person is just more angry and more disjointed than all the others, but that doesn't mean that all the people upset with this move are being unreasonable.
