This update really feels like a gift to the players. The PVE mode is fun, although some minor tweaks could make it an incredible game mode! The UI is super nice and clean, I really enjoy it visually. There's also so many litte QoL updates I've noticed sprinkled in, such as the matchmaking timer.

This is a damn good update. Honestly. I love this game, and it warms my heart to see the Devs taking our feedback seriously. I just wanted to take some time to thank the Playwing team for all their hard work in creating this wonderful game!!!!

Hey, we could have not gotten this update at all. This game, regardless of how much you've personally paid for it, is still free to play. For a game like this, and how it's decidedly NOT pay-to-win, I think it's honestly incredible. This game is still very young, and they could have charged much more than what they do.

Actually, you're wrong: if we hadn't gotten this update the game would've finally died because just before the event dropped the player count was at its lowest. Things weren't looking good at all, they still aren't, but this is a VERY big boost in the right direction, and all bc they finally did what was long overdue: listen to players

It rly doesn't matter who spent what, it's just a matter of how this was a really bad year for Century overall, so the bar was really low
It's also not that hard to make it not pay to win: just don't monetize things that affect gameplay That strategy is usually a really bad thing and luckily these devs were just smart enough to know that

What? No? They could definitely have not charged more than what they do. Hun were you there when they released the founders' pack for 60e? Lone Roar? Arisen? etc? All the time they locked event skins behind a minimum of 60e total? They really couldn't have charged more lmfao in fact they're still doing that in a way, but this new pack was a lot sweeter: new rider gear that's not just a reskin but an actual new model + new dragon that's a new model too
And yet people complained but still bought stuff to support the game, and FINALLY after all this time we get a proper event It's awesome!

But hey, don't take all of this as me tryna ruin the party, this is the best update Century has seen since it released

If you mean the battlepass that's JUST how battlepasses work but this is a thread about the event which is 100% free

You have 4 free dragon skins, + a sword + profile items for free

You don't have to pay to play the event or anything X'D

I can see 1 item that costs silver, atm, not to mention silver takes years to obtain unless you have the battlepass

Halloween: 4 packs, a total of 60e or more just for cosmetics, NO event, and NO rewards
Frost and Fury: 3 Legendary dragons, a total of 60e, event with a SINGLE epic skin reward

I think they're pampering us with this event really: 3K gems for a bundle with a unique armor and dragon, + a new frost-themed SR dragon for 2K. That's pretty damn reasonable for the bullshit they've pulled on us through the whole year

Actually you don't need the battlepass, you're still gonna earn stars even without buying it, and you can convert those as far as I'm aware? not 100% sure there if you need to buy the BP for the conversion
The way to go this season about grinding silver is basically via dailies/weeklies, there's no other way :T and I totally agree with how that system needs to be tweaked so we get more, hell I even have another thread dedicated to that

you should double check what they're giving you compared to shop items
but as far as i can tell this is the worst battlepass/progression system I've ever come across in a game..

sorry if you don't like my opinion but the game needs some serious work. I don't hate the game, but every reason I have to play the game there's 3 more to not play it. take a look at the top steam reviews they can nail it better than me and that's from people with over 300 hours that don't recommend the game.

Super pleasantly surprised with this update featuring a whole ton of QoL features and content. It truly feels like a Christmas gift for me. Can't wait to grind the frick out of the event with my friends!
