If it’s moving north east then the velocity vector will be a linear multiple of (1,1)
yh or you could think of it as
the angle is halfed so its 45 degrees
tan45 = opposite/adjacent
hi thankyou for your response , but im still rxtremely confused.
Think about a co-ordinate grid, if you’re travelling north east then for every 1 square you go along you go up one
So you’re travelling in the same direction as (1,1) so you know your velocity vector must be in this form
Basically when does your velocity upwards = your velocity to the right
Still confused would someone mind writing it out for me! Would rlly appreciate
Like if it was south east what would u do where is it coming from
Idt you’re really trying to understand it then
Direction of (1,-1)
I AM TRYING 😭🙏
Then you don’t know what a vector Is and you should try understand the concept before doing problems
if you’re not willing to help then just don’t come on to the chat please!
in the exam you won't have someone doing it all for you
every thread you've made is you asking someone to solve it rather than you asking to understand
