blah blah blah Can we please add National 5 (Nat5), Higher and Advanced Higher (AH) labels (i dont know what Higher counts as for the english level types)
so, when working out cosx + (√3)sinx as 2cos(x-60), it ends up being two different graphs, even though they are supposed to be same (i think?)
i don't know why this is because doing the working that i've been taught (since the method could potentially be wrong or i'm missing a step), it results in 2cos(x-60)

unless 2cos(x-60) is meant to be some sort of altered form of cosx + (√3)sinx, but i don't think that's what we were told
oh i think its cuz
desmos isnt in degrees
u can set it to that tho
try
2cos(x-pi/3)
it will be the same
or
2sin(x+pi/6)
oh and js for future reference
this stuff is considered ot be a level
ah
I think there is tick mark button to change angle units
