Rewrite tan(3θ) in terms of sin and cos
2sin3θ/cos3θ + 5sin3θ = 0
Factorise out sin3θ:
(sin3θ)(2/cos3θ + 5)=0
By inspection this will be 0 when sin3θ=0, and 2/cos3θ + 5 = 0
Whenever you have trig equations/identities you want to write in terms of sin and cos
True
It’s 2sin30/cos30 +5sin30 bc of tan30=sin30/Cos30
Idk how to get theta symbol on phone
@lucid nimbus lemme cook
please never use 0 as theta ever again
thanks
Bro idk how to get theta symbol on phone
just write theta or use x
Ok
From the last line:
||sin3θ=0 → θ=0, 60, 120, 180
2/cos3θ + 5 = 0
2+5cos3θ=0
cos3θ=-⅖ → θ≈37.9, 82.1, 157.9||
how did u change it from dividing by 2 to then adding 2
multiply both sides by cos3θ
