The object is stationary so it is in both parallel and perpendicular equilibrium
Resolve the weight of the object into perpendicular and parallel components
Also resolve F into perpendicular and parallel components
right......sooo... how do I resolve them into their vertical and horizontal components
I've been told to do that by many including yourself but I just dont know how
Perpendicular and parallel not vertical and horizontal
Ill draw it
oh ok tysm
This is the weight part
Do you understand why I've put what I put
ooh that makes more sense now tysm
And this for the F
tysm your a lifesaver 😭
Equate opposite parallel components and equate opposite perpendicular components
Btw in that F one I just put
The perpendicular arrow should be going towards the plane mb
Like that
oh right
Parallel equilibrium
Fcos25 = 3.4sin25
F=1.58....
I cba doing perpendicular you can figure it our
ah right because its stationary
Yea
no worries
I lied I can be bothered
Perpendicular equilibrium
3.4cos25 + Fsin25 = N
3.4cos25 + (1.58...)sin25 = N
N = 3.75
