I'm assuming that the patio makes no difference as I don't see an obvious way to work the area for it
Area of lawn: 16×32 + ½×32×√40²-32²
= 512 + 16×√576
= 512 + 16×24
= 512 + 384 = 896m²
896/2.5 = 358.4 → 359 bags
And then just do 359×1.2
I mean the other method would be to find the base of the trapezium and then use formula for that
But you also end up using pythagoras for that
