so where does the x= 4 come from
and the step before that
so the next step

so to get from C to E u must go back 4a
and then go from O to E
so thats where u get -4a
and because CE must be a multiple of (-a+b)
if the coefficient of a is -4 b must be 4
as when u factorise 4 out of that u get 4 (-a+b)
oh thats a hard question I sort of got it now
do u know where to get exam Qs that are only like those, like the back of a paper ik I could do that for all but yh
corbettmaths and mathsgenie are both great for doing questions in specific topics
if your school is signed up to a service like sparx or mathsgenie you could use those questions too
pmt has some aswell
