First write everything u know about the cylinder, so I think just do surface area, volume, differentiate those then note down the rate of SA decrease which is ds/dt
Then cook from there

I do have one question for this tho, why is ds/dt here 0.5 where your value for s is the entire area of the pill and not just the cross sectional area as the question states?
They are yeah, you can have a look at the Year 2 book chapter 9 if I’m not mistaken (or go on PMT -> Calculus)
Oop maybe I missed that actually 😅 I’d need the mark scheme to double check that haha
