for part a you need to re-arrange the function into y in terms of x

the actual structure is the same shape as the graph but stretched into 3 dimensions with a width in the z axis of 0.06m

volume of a general prism = area * height (or depth in this case)

the function is rearranged to y = 1/4sqrt(144-9x^2)

therefore volume = 0.06*integral from 0 to 4 of (1/4sqrt(144-9x^2))dx

therefore taking 1/4 out from the integral gives the desired result

part b is just estimating the integral

part c is dependant on where your basis points were for the estimate
