i know the identity is sin^2 + cos^2 = 1
but how do i relate that
to the equation of the circle
so you just set x-4 equal to rcost which is 3cost
and the same for y-3
or just draw a triangle
oh
i dont get it
i dont get why you set the triangle to y-3 and x-4
i understand this would be a unit circle
hence 3 is = radius
so the hypoteneus
oh shit
but the links to parametric and everything is driving me crazy
@brisk cipher ive managed to wrap my head around it thank you so much bro
would you know how to do part d?
didn’t see this until 10 mins ago my bad
so y = (24/7)x
since the radius is 3 and the circle is centred 3 units up, the circle is tangent to the x axis, which makes y = 0 another solution
That makes sense thank you man
