For c I
You’ll get something on top and then sec^2 t on bottom
i
Oh
Oh ok
I can show on whiteboard just give me a couple mins
It’s the addition formulae tho
I’ll do it
Thank you
aaa i just finished it now and was about to send a picture
beat me to it lol
That’s just a fact
You can send yours too haha
cool
If sec t is 1/cos t
Then it’s fair to say 1/ sect is cos y
T
Factorise
I just factored out cos t
So cos t divided by cos t becomes 1
And sin t divided by cos t becomes tan t
Which is what you want
Cuz in the show that there’s a bracket w x
Which is tan t
It’s all about looking at what the Q wants you to end at
ye lol its easier to use the show that bit to guess what to do next
This is crazyyy but it get it now
I would never have thought to do that
Can you also do part b if you don’t mind
😭😭
<@&791435371564892232>
Thank you
Can you do this
Sorry i have no markscgeme and can’t find it anywhere
Both😔
It’s ok
for a it would be 8
because 2^4 = 16
so a_2n = a_2(4) = a_8
for b you should split it into two sums
split it in two sums
a2 + a4 + … a20 will be:
2^1 + 2^2 + … + 2^10
which is a geometric series
I’m going to draw it
Thank you
the first sum is like that because every odd term in the series is 3 more than the previous odd term
then you’d add the two sums to get the answer
it should be ||2341|| by the way
Oh wait I understand this I’ve been trying to wrap my head around it
I didn’t know there was an answer so I’ll do it when i get home thank you
no problem
