You measure them clockwise form north
a) so you got the vectors treat them as coordinates, so use distance formula sqrt(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2
sqrt(6-2)^2+(-4+1)^2= sqrt(41)
b) its bearing!! 270 + TOA
so 270+tan^-1(1.25)
c) −(2i + j) + 6i − 4j = 4i − 5j
Velocity = 8i − 10j
so λ(8i − 10j) = 4i − 5j
λ = 1
Then you make a conclusion
d) pythagoras
sqrt(8^2+10^2)
e) t=d/s
t=sqrt(41)/part (d)
t= 1/2 an hour.
how did you get landa = 1?
they r parallel thts why
@outer zephyr all good?
