what part of their method are you struggling with
the first part is just using the SD formula
and the 2nd part is multiply it by 20 as the data is coded

its not on our course
basically its sigma x^2 but its not calculated how you would expect so its not on our course
if you put all the data in your calc it will guive you the SD and then just do x20
you dont need to worry about the value of sigma x^2
