for gf(x) = (1+x)^2
can something squared ever be negative?
idk
mad
yah
๐ฅถ
y>=0
same thing
oh
also did i find gf(x) correctly on the first question
cuz i just redid it and got a completely different answer
i got (x+1)^2/x
what abt the range for the second one
yes
is it this or the one i typed on the screenshot ๐ญ
complete the square
the screenshot
i cant complete the square if A is not equal to 1
1/1/(x+1)^2
factor out
so if you just factor out 4 first then
fg(x) = 4(x^2-3x) + 9
fg(x) = 4(x-3/2)^2 - 9 +9
fg(x) = 4(x-3/2)^2
don't use the 9 in the factorisation since you have to pull it out at the end anyways
it's just taking out a factor of 4 and completing the square as normal
well it's something squared again right?
do the square as (2x+...)^2 ๐ค
crazy
nerd
shut up i cant complete tthe square when a is not 1
๐ญ
what abt gf(x) on second q
how do i find the range of that
on 2x^2 -3 ?
yh
anything squared is greater than or equal to 0
anything squared -3 is greater than or equal to -3
huh
so that means the range is -3 <= y <= 0?
no
yes
oh
