#hard q on lengths
61 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I know I did the q but I keep getting the perimeter wrong can you help me with the answer pls
so I used pythagoras
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
and also 1/a^2 + 1/c^2 = 1/b^2
after than i used the area which gives u another equation
so 0.5(1/a)(1/c)* 2 = 0.5(a)(b)
now u have 3 equations
and 3 unknowns
i would recommend manipulating the equation so u get a as the subject variable
then i just used desmos after that, cuz i couldnt be asked to solve the question manually
@quartz crater
i think thats all the clues, not sure i can help u more with the ritangle question
I have all of that already.
But I keep getting the answer wrong
that’s what. I’m asking for
what do u want from me
the answer?
i jus told u the method to solve it
the rest is just basic maths
I already did it but I. Can’t get the answer
yes because. I did the rest. It just keeps failing
well no i cant give u the answer
and yeahh I did change hyp to 1/a and 1/b and it still don’t work.
this is wrong
Yeahh I changed it
ok
I knoww I asked David but
Still it doesn’t work
Can you give me the answer and I can reverse work it and send it in and see if. It’s the right way?
Yeah but I have all the working
your technically an online source
just helping me
mate 😂
im not stupid
telling the answer is against the rules
this is wrong too
i think u should restart ur whole working and start from scratch again
fine. Lemme retry
r u working solo or do u have a team
Solo
Can you. Help @zinc orbit
ye
how r u still doing q1
whats the deadline for the questions
i thought u have to solve the question before the next one is out
also can u get them wrong
or r u out as soon as u get any wrong
u can ghet them wrong
this is q2 btw
Oh yh
dyk how the scoring system works then
