Well because 0.1 × 3 is 0.3 and 0.1 × 2 is 0.2

If u sub in 0.3 and 0.2 above

Then you get tan(0.9)cos(0.4)

which is not what we want

So pretty much ur solving 3x = 0.3 and 2x = 0.2

It's a similar method to binomial approximation
