for this question about dicriminant, in the answers it multiplied the quadratic by negative 1 which then flip the inequality sign which i understand but if u didnt then wouldnt the final answer be 2 separate inequalities?

If you solved it as a negative quadratic your sketch would be an upside down parabola so youd get the same answer
