For q2 u need to find the matrix HH
do you know how to multiply a matrix by a scalar
yes, but I dokt know how to get the scalar
what do you get when you add aA and bB?
when I add A+ B =
1 0
0 -3/2
you need to multiply by the scalars a and b before adding the two matrices
I'm going to make an assumption: Once you times them by the scalar and added them, the identity 2x2 is (1 0 then 01), then we just equate the first number of the matrix by the first number of the identity matrix, and do the same for the next row, then we rearrange it and do a simultaneous equation to solve for a then substitute a back into equation to find b
That's what I thought of it so far
No idea if it's right or wrong
yeah, that's exactly right
what do you mean
no problem
i am
self-studied the course
doing my gcses now
I seee, so you have pre-read A-Levels Maths?
i guess you could say that, yeah
