#A2 binomials

If it’s |-2x| I think it should just be x<1/2
Ur correct it's just u leave it as |x| < 1/2
|-2x| < 1 => 2|x| < 1 => |x| < ½
U don't need to solve it as a normal mod inequality
but the range hello 😭
im so confused for when we leave as mod or when we dont
with the powers if n is fractional or negative
technically no
But it's best to leave it as |x| < ½ for ms
but ye ur correct
It's not wrong
oh
fairs
thanks x
im so confused a bit though
like when do we do -1/2 < x < 1/2
and when do we leave it as mod
For the answer either works but like I said for markschemes with binomial expansion questions probably best to leave as mod
idk just in case some examiners are terrible markers😭
And only follow off ms
they mean the same thing personally I’ve never seen the ms care about it
but as ambi said some markers can be bad
gl girl ur doing good maths
thanks x
i'm getting C's now in every AS paper i do (pure)
better than Es so i'll take it x
nice improvement yh
thanks nola x
i've consolidated the whole of binomials
just not the partial fractions bit yet
mainly cuz we haven't looked at it in maths
yeah some of that is y2 content
yuh
what.
Calc next …
one topic at a time please 😭
no it’s the same thing
icl i still don't get partial fractions with binomials
non natural number means not positive integer
Exponent is just the power on the binomial
no no
A natural number is a positive integer (incl. zero I think)
And anything that’s NOT a positive integer
Is non natural
What’s the question?
a natural number is denoted by
It’s solved
$\mathbb{N}$
nola
@astral sun
Oh I get it
ye
It's referred to as the counting set
so any positive integer like 1,2,3,4,5 is a natural number?
Not 0
0 is only natural in computer science
Depends who u ask
Some people say it is
Nah man
Hi
