linear transformations

I dont get why when u multiply the matrix to the cordinates u gets back the cordinates, what link does it have wth the fact that the origin is invariant ?

0,0 is always invariant since if you apply any linear transformation to it you will get (0,0)

And also things like reflections through lines, if a co ordinate lies on the line then it’s invariant
