there are several ways u can do this

use trig to find x or y then use pythagoras

or do trig twice for x and y

But question 2 is not a right angle so I can't use advanced trig

its iscoscoles triangle so you can work out the top angle and get x

That's 120 degrees and you will have to use a calculate for that?
