a most puzzling conundrum
in this hypothesis test, you are considering the probability that the observation 28 or higher will happen
in most cases, you will be using <= or >= in your hypothesis tests
it is either P(X >= 28)
or P(X > 27)
Oh yeah forgor
which are essentially the same thing
but it's easier just to stick with the value in the q
and go for <= or >=

This is a sign I need to do more stats worl
stuff like this is really finnicky
there are lots of small little details you have to remember for stats
and it's difficult sometimes
I'd say always do >= since most calculators tend to use that comparison on the built in binomial distribution calculators

At least, on Casio graphing calcs

i guess it is a bit boring and repetitive
and some of the content is difficult to understand at times
with really horrible bits you have to memorise and stuff

the binomial tells you the probability of having x many successes out of a certain number of trials
is this stuff in gcse or do u just do it for fun
maths has always been my favourite
cuz i dont remember doing this level of detail at all
idk i just find it relaxing ðŸ˜
it's a stress reliever for me, which i know is the opposite for you guys taking your exams soon
