Cuz from the graph you can see sin180 = 0 and then to get from 180 to 240 you need 60 and from the graph its negative so you get -sin60
yeah but i need to cover CAST dont i? ðŸ˜
like, what if an exam question comes up and it asks me to use CAST to answer it
With CAST i'm pretty sure you measure the angle from the horizontal line
You measured 30 from the vertical line
But its 60 from the horizontal line
And cuz its the bottom right quadrant sin is negative

and the reason why its not positive sin is cuz only tan is positive in the third quadrant?
