I’ve got a question. I used to do further maths, but dropped it. My old teacher taught me the change of base formula. However, my new teacher just finished covering year 1 logs and he didn’t teach me that formula. Is the change of base formula for year 1 or 2?

Use definition of logs logbase2(1/4)^4
Is saying what power of 2 would give an answer of 1/4^4
2^x=1/2^-8
U can see x=-2
