so basically you need to find where 3y=x+20 cuts the x axis: this is when y=0

3(0) = x + 20
x + 20 = 0
x = -20

so Q is the point (-20,0)

and we already know P is the point (4,8)

so now use the distance formula (aka pythagoras) on those two points
