what i did was try it in a way were they both used the lowest numbers and checked for a pattern and came up w this

like seth starts with 1,2

#

and cain uses 3,6

#

bc the numbers have to be twice the other

#

the q says we can’t re use the same number used previously

so the next number possible to use is 4,8 ??
