we just use F
Fa is less than Fmax ???
also why do we not consider Rb?

Fmax is friction
And because B is smooth you don’t need to consider frictional forces on B
Which is why only Fa is relevant
????

if Fmax is friction then what is Fa?
Force at A
There is only 1 frcitional force here so why cant we just say F
Because there would also be a force at B
but the wall is smooth
so there is not friction on B
Doesn’t mean that there isn’t a force
