Okay so if I remember correctly basically all you do is find the area of the square
60
So 12 X 5=60
Is that all
No
Wait actually I don’t think I am correct
Give me a minute
Okay I got it now
So what you do is you treat the area like a full circle
So the diameter is going to be 12
The area of a circle is Pie R squared
A = Pie R squared
= pie X 6 squared (half of the diameter it’s called the radius)
= pie x 36 (here we have just squared the 6)
= 113.09
Because we worked it out as a full circle we then must divide it by 2
Sence it’s a semi circle
Ahhh
Yesyes Im gonna give it a go and let you know what I got
Okay
No you should be alrigth
u shouldnt be calculating area at any point
^
calculate the circumference of that half of the circle and then the perimeter of the recntangle but only the sides that will have fence (5 + 12 + 5 basically) bc there is one area of lenght that wont have a fence
Yeah it’s not area it’s perimeter
find the perimeter of the rectangle (that doesn't include the diameter of the semi circle) then find the circumference of the semi circle add them together then multiply it by 3
You need to find the circumference of half the circle
