so sin²Θ = (x/a)²

so then y/b = cosΘ

so cos²Θ= (y/b)²

Using --> sin²Θ + cos²Θ = 1

so (x/a)² + (y/b)² = 1

so x²/a² + y²/b² = 1

And I believe its an ellipse

but if it’s a cartesian equation shouldn’t it be in terms of x and y only?
