if the half line passes theough the centre then sub in the centre ( as a complex number ) as z and show that it = ฯ/6
thus the circle passed through the point z=-i as it satisfies the equation and then same idea for the half line
this stopped me from doing A level further maths next year ๐
it does
|-i - 2sqrt(3) - i| = |2 sqrt(3) + 2i|
which is sqrt(4 * 3 + 4)
by squaring each individually
which is sqrt(16) = 4
It definitely satisfies it sir
Interesting
how have u got |2 sqrt(3) +2i| to sqrt(4*3+4)
|a + bi| = sqrt(a^2 + b^2)
here a is 2sqrt(3) and b is 2
2sqrt(3) squared is 4*3
nw!
