@raven spindle uploaded a log, While trying to load in the game, after compiling the mods, it crashes. The fix I've found is to not use the Furfsky texture pack. This applies to both the OV and FULL versions.
HOWEVER, this crash only occurs on load if the texture packs are already turned on. If they are turned off, the game will load fine and can be applied after boot and the crash is avoided.
Mods I'm using:
- Skytils (1.9.7)
- NotEnoughUpdates (2.2.2+2767ef49)
- Dungeons Guide (4.0.0-beta9.5)
Launcher: Prism
Minecraft: 1.8.9
Forge: 11.15.1.2318
Texture Packs: - 1.14 Backport [works fine]
- Mob Packet 1.8.9 1.4 [works fine]
- FurfSky Reborn FULL (1.7.3)
- FurfSky Reborn OV (1.7.3)
My thoughts.
I'm submitting a bug report because of the several steps I have to do to play with these texture packs. I would have to go into the config and disable them manually if they were left on by mistake, and when I quit I have to make sure they are disabled.
It seems that I am an outlier when it comes to this issue, so it could be possible I am using an outdated texture pack or something to that same effect. However, all of my mods are up to date and this issue seems to be about textures.
I wonder if it might have connection to the privacy policy screen upon startup? Though I doubt that is likely given what I know of mod development.
If someone is able to identify where I am going wrong, I would greatly appreciate it. Though as it stands I am at a loss.
If there is more information desired please let me know, I'd be happy to oblige.
- Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.8.0_411

Possible Solutions:
- If you're using Patcher & have started crashing recently when joining a server, you'll need to disable entity culling by going to
.minecraft/config, opening thepatcher.tomlfile and changingentity_culling = truetoentity_culling = false.
** This is caused by a new AMD driver update that appears to be a complete rewrite of the driver. If you suffer a large performance hit after disabling entity culling, you can try downgrading your GPU driver instead**
Recommendations:
- Unless you know what you're doing, modifying your JVM args could have unintended side effects. It's best to use the defaults.
- Update Skytils from 1.9.7 to 1.10.0-pre7
