Hello, looking for support here. Started discussing my problem in #general but the gist of it is dg is using all of my ram. I'm on a 32gb system and have always had 4gb allocated to mc. Dg, however, will use all of that and turn my game into a powerpoint occasionally. I tried upping to 8gb to no avail. I've been told going to 12 won't solve anything either as mc cant handle that much ram allocated anyway. So, how can I fix this?

I currently use legacyautopathfind with theta star pathfind algorithm. I can provide other settings, the entire config, or additional system specs upon request.

I'd like to continue using pathfind to 1 secret at a time but if for some reason pathfindtoall is the only setting that doesn't use up my ram then just tell me and I'll cope with that I guess. Please ping me on reply, and thx in advance

i monitor my ram usage in f3 and it uses all of it

is there anything i can do on my end configuration wise to prevent me becoming a ppt in some rooms

on a side note but less important to me atm, the mod occasionally does not work in some runs. This is occasionally accompanied by a chat message saying the mod is being disabled due to not finding map or something, and sometimes no message is displayed and I just don't have any pathfinding that run. is this fixable on my end?

I do not know if it is RAM usage but I am also on a hefty CPU (Ryzen 7 2700 X) and DG is the only mod that manages to sometimes block the rendering thread for 3 - 5 seconds straight

very suprised how half of the people using dg have memory leaks or huge lag spikes and the other half don't

but i doubt any staff (maybe besides sye) have used the mod in last year or so

and is there some sort of solution here bc im not running some sort of low end cpu that shouldnt be able to handle a minecraft mod

someone else that had the same problem as me upped their alocated ram to 10gb and said they barely had the issue anymore so ima try the same lol

Huh, I think it impacts me too frequently for it to be worth it. I get the problem multiple rooms a dungeon it seems so idk
