I put a new HDD into my pc, but when I turned it on it got stuck at the "press del/f2 to enter bios". Tried using a new SATA/psu cable, but neither helped. Also tried other sata port/tried the working one but no use. After removing it the PC boot up normally. It's an amd 5600x and ASUS b550-a if that help.

should had specifed xd, it's a recertified hdd I got from serverpartdeal. Manufactured july 2025.

return it. it's defective. faulty hdd will cause extremely long boot up coz the board is struggling to read the drive and identify it
